Blue monkey im just looking at your site and i was wondering what a 'central gore' was? never heard of it before!0

Bluerover - great site, love the man kicking the ball.
I do like the idea of a sale but it is getting the stock there. It has to be loaded on rails you see - if you saw everything I had you would understand and I woul have to hire a van too as well as finding a time without having the children here. Because there are so many sizes it all has to be laid out seperately otherwise people cannot find what they want. I tired to do Pamper nights but it really was hard taking everything we had in stock and by the time it was laid out it would be time to put it away. When we used to do the market it would be a good 3 hours to get it all set out. Not something I can do on my own and women would nto buy when hubby was there so it has to be a lady who can do the physical setting up work.
I've thought about a Mother and Baby sale they hold locally because I could just take the nursing and maternity ranges so I am waiting on that at the moment.
I have spent this evening updaing a few things on the site so if you can see anything else that is incorrect please let me know. Also added the rest of the ranges in but I've a problem with the image on the front page and of course, have no program to sort that out on as it is on the other laptop. Typical. Never mind, that can wait until next week.
Someone has found me this evening using 'wedding lingerie'. Was that someone here or just a very sheer co-incidence?? I've added wedding lingerie to my meta tags now but I've always used the term 'bridal' as I thought people would search for this more.0 -

Ah, the central gore is the bit between the cups of the bra. The plunge bras do not usually have them but balcony and full cup bras (look for the Tango II as an example) have a larger piece of structured lace between the cups and this is the central gore. If you are a smaller cup size then you probably would not have noticed before because it is usually more prominant in the larger cup sizes (D upwards) because it gives additional support between the cups.0 -
Blue Monkey - I am getting a quote to update my website (it needs a thorough revamp now that I am doing corporate events too) I can put a linky up for you (or rather the webdesigners can). If I put it here it will remind me.
Did you mean a linky to my site or a linky for the web designer? If it is to yours then yes please, I am happy to do that too because it is hard trying to find the right people to advertise my site. I have to either sort a page or the footer but if you have a site and logo you are welcome to email me and I can add it to my site too. I think we mentioned something like this before.
I will see if I can sort a box down the site for links, not something I have tried yet but am happy to give it a go!! The box is always visible and it picks it up on the meta tags too.0 -
Well I never knew what a central gore was and now I do - you learn something every day. I can remember being in Selfridges lingerie dept with some idiot who says "oh we don't measure you we go by sight":rotfl: well she must need glasses is all I can say because she kept bringing me bras that were a size 32A - I was that size when I was 21 but now I am a 36C so you can see my problem - I couldnt even get the things on:eek: This silly idiot was adamant that I was a size 32A - in desperation I went to Primarni but only because I couldnt be bothered to stay there any longer but I did go back and needed a bra to wear with some items I was trying on and told the assistant my size so she went to find one - which when it came to it I refused to take off:rotfl:
My website needs a good shakeup but I shall have to check my personal funds although I actually have a good mind to get another designer on the case and have a whole new site - decisions decisions:rolleyes:0 -

There you are - the first topic for your articles!"Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
Balcony bras?"Green pastures are before me,

Reminds me of a term I once heard of (think it's Aussie) for a man's beer belly: the balcony over the toy shop."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
LOL. I can remember when I was in Oz and buying some flipflops and the shopkeeper looked at me as though I was mad as I kept asking how much the flipflops were - I was then told that they weren't flipflops but thongs and there was me thinking that thongs were underwear.
Forgot to say to Bluerover that his website is fab.:D0
