    Well done Purple:T

I have been poring over two emails from the same business - I am trying to see if there is a catch because the offer is too good to be true. Free weddings - but the wedding party have to stay in the hotel and book in 50 couples on a DB&B basis on certain dates during 09/10 - the money is made from the dinners. I guess I need to find out more but it seems rather strange and I am not sure if it is a con.

Blimey Star - you are up early:eek: I dragged myself out of bed at 7.15am and feel like death warmed up, I spent too long on the internet last night so much that my eyes hurt and kept hurting after I went to bed...that will teach me to go to bed earlier:rolleyes:

Will be contacting the hotel who claim to be offering free weddings to see if I can visit and find out all about their offer. I am trying to get my writing head on too.

Woo Hoo - my new business cards have arrived in the print shop (apparently they get sent to Manchester to be printed) and they look fab according to Laura (the designer in the shop). As I am feeling daggy today - slobbing around in t-shirt, fleece, trackie bottoms and I haven't washed my hair (plus I have a stinking headache) I am staying indoors. I shall go and collect them tomorrow as they are open from 8.30 til 6pm:D

I have had a very productive afternoon. Finished the website rewrites - yipee, now I can get paid!
I have also been reading through reams of research to write the article I am about to start in two minutes....
Star you get up about the same time as me. But I have to get to work and get the school lunches sorted etc.
Horace it sounds like you are having a good day. Sometimes it is good to slob around. I do it most days to be honest - get home from work, off comes the uniform on go the trackie bottoms. My eyes ache from the computer too. I have glasses which sit in their case right in front of me. Ought to put them on really....

    Ok - back to it!

Megs - I havent done much work today to be truthful - I have cleaned the bathroom and mopped the floor and done the same with the kitchen:D I have also done two lots of washing.

I have even taken a peak at my assignment - the one about the hen party, I have looked and started to think again which is a good start and I may even be able to finish it off (fingers crossed). Who would have thought an assignment about hen parties and another about transport would be so bloomin' hard:rolleyes:

My accountant has contacted me and told me that I will be getting a code from the HMRC so that she can do my accounts (that's a weight off my mind already:j) and I need to look at the WTC form too - I may take it to the chamber with me and they can help me fill it in (how I wish I had asked for one in large print:rolleyes:).

Tomorrow I shall go suited and booted to pick up my new cards - that will make me feel important:rotfl:

Hi Horace, The way I often start my articles (when I don't have a clue) is to make a few notes and before I know it the words are just poring out and it's written. I can write 500 words in 20 mins! Have to chuck most of it but the structure is in place and go from there.
Few ideas about hen parties - where to go, overseas packages, dress ups?, should you invite a bloke if he's yur friend, should you trust your friends to look after you?, best cocktails, are limos naff? gee I could go on and on and I didn't even have a hen party!
If you need some specific help I am happy to put my oar in for you.

megs...its just the assignment about hen parties - restaurant, limo, roving guitarist who sings and steps to go through, maybe I am complicating matters. Also need to discuss the rings etc...its all so boring. The scenario is so naff especially as it is set in the UK (yawn).
