Hello

Had a very good day in the office yesterday actually spent less time in there than normal but because of the half hour thing where I do nothing but work in that half hour (only other thing allowed is toilet breaks) I am getting so much more done in less time. Think that has shown me how much time I spent on the internet on 'fun' stuff.

Anway only in here for a shortwhile this morning to get the banks checked and the wages paid. I did get the cashflow forcasts done yesterday and although they are not great they are not as bad as I thought.

I also paid an extra £50 off my Next account using some giftcards from my birthday, line dried some washing and had a low spend day so that is all good.

Anway off now, cant wait for the kids to go back to school next week so I can really get in routine.

Hi all

Had a less than productive few days due to migraine & DD being off - I know I am going to have to go out with her today at some point, if only to the supermarket (another tricky trip if you are trying not to spend:eek:). However, as she has to revise, I plan to use that time as my 'work' time, the 30 min focussing does really help. Last week before the bank shut I paid off the 2 smaller CC bills with the most massive interest rates - well, as near as I could guess, will wait to get the next bills in to see how much interest they have slammed on BUT it is progess. Couldn't pay a chunk off them last month as we didn't get paid, so did double payments. So, less waffle, today I will:

• check banks
• write all descriptions for eBay stuff
• nag DH to ask where this month's cheque is
• chase up rental income (see above)
• answer website emails

That should do for the morning - good luck & lots of support for everyone:T

Having said all that, I hope I'm right! If you do go down that route, do make sure you set it up properly, so that the tax man can't question it later.

Morning everyone. Just thought I'd stop in to say hi. Not much time because of the school holidays but the kids are eating Easter Eggs so are quiet for 5 minutes, LOL. I've been doing what work I can in the evenings so the day times are for the kids.

Not much else to speak about really, decided that I am charging bigger spcial orders at time of order because of so many declined cards at the moment and I cannot afford to keep the stock in.

I've added some £10 off specials to my website. These are the Special Orders that people have ordered in and then returned and because of the sheer volume of goods we sell are unlikely to sell in the near (or distant) future.

Also woke up with some inspiration to do some more jiggling to the website so that is my job for today whenever I get a spare few minutes.

Also started using the Wii Fit again, found I can do stepping while watching the TV so when I have something to catch up with I can do stepping. Feeling a bit bruised and achy today as I did wuite a bit of exercise yesterday. Is it good to have a days rest, LOL.

Morning all,
My day has already started badly. Got a really bad sleep because my husbands mobile/pda thingy kept making noises all night. It sounded like the battery was going - but he blissfully sleeps through stuff like that and I wake every time it goes off.
Today I have to research an article(morning) write said article (afternoon), take the kids to town (lunch time) get son's hair cut, buy daughter a new playstation game, spend my next voucher (woohoo) shop for tonights dinner.
I don't drive so all this takes place via bus!
Also neeed to start reseaching and writing kitchen articles. I am having trouble getting my head around these at the moment. i know once i start i will be fine and it will all fall into place.
My weight loss mission is a little bit muddled right now too. I have put on alittle but lost 2% body fat. i have been running, doing aerobics and weights this week. I know muscle weighs more an all that but I reall want to see the scale come down. I have around 2 stone to lose (one day!)
At least the weather is a bit rubbish so no wanting to be outside. We can all get our heads down and concentrate - can't we?

It has been a fairly productive day so far - I have actually started to write my assignments after much proscrastination:j In a mo I have to make another call to Frankies Yankees as he might just drive a 1957 fin winged bright pink caddy past my place this afternoon:D - this vehicle is normally hired out to film studios and places like Harrods:eek: The chap is only based down the road from me.

I have also signed off on the proofs for my new business card - again I had to ask for input from a friend and she told me add the word corporate - so now my business now does wedding & corporate events planning:D Printing.com have managed to recreate my logo (the one that I got from Vistaprint) it is slightly different but not by much and my card is being printed both sides - on the reverse i have my logo and business name and the fact that I organise weddings & corporate events - I eventually settled on a picture too. They suggested a bride & groom but I thought it too weddingy and picked something else - star confetti with some curling ribbon - this signifies all sorts of things and looks extremely stylish which is what I want.:D

I have also made a start in clearing paperwork off the dining table:D

Feeling productive today and decided to take the laptop outside to work for a while as its just such a beautiful day! too nice to be inside!
Waiting for the delivery man to come, he said he'd be here about 11am...... only and hour and 11 minutes late now! :rolleyes:

Oh, I am so bored today - the weather is rubbish, and I ordered a printer yesterday, but I didn't realise until too late that they would deliver it today, so I can't go out until it arrives, and the kids are moping round the house bored. And I'm waiting for two different jobs to arrive, and neither of them has turned up so far, so they'd better be here by the end of the day or I'll end up paying for the the kids to be in the holiday club all day tomorrow with no work to justify it.

Kids - give them a book to read, make them do homework (they are bound to have some), let them play in the garden - they need to learn to amuse themselves:D
