  • Hi, I am going to have a look for this tomorrow. Can you give me any idea what the case looks like as I am positive I will get the sa from hell who has no idea what I am talking about!
Are the leads and case near to the player itself? if the sa has no idea what I am talking about, how do I get her to check?
    Thanks in advance :)
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11
  • The case is the same size as the player, black leather and square. It has a flip down front and comes in its own box with big see through window on front. Dixons website have it advertised for £19.99
  • I checked the Dixons site and the case is there but no picture :(
I'll still have a go though but I do like to be prepared :)

Quite right too! Especially if 'they know nothing about the free items'. Wish the cases came in different colours though, my daughter would have loved one in baby pink!

Got the last one (may be a display one left if you want it) at Currys in Edmonton (A406). Still charging, but looks great.
Really helpful SA and manager, they didn't know about the cables and case but agreed it, then none in stock! However the managers brother is the manager of another branch, and is going to grab them off the shelf, take them home and give them to my manager, etc etc etc....
Bottom line is even if it doesn't happen and I don't get the case and leads, I am well happy at £50 for this item. Cheers OP.

I sent my hubby back today to Dixons in Manchester as we didn't get any extras when we bought it at the Trafford Centre. They didn't have any cases or cables in stock but are ordering them in for collection next week! I'm quite impressed by their service.

We also returned one to the Manchester store tonight as we didn't need it so if anyone is after one get yourself down there in the morning

Thanks Marvo, was more interested as to stock avaliability over store location but I appreciate the effort.

    Anyone know the answer??
The answer is no - its folder based navigation. You can't create playlists, files play in folders numerically/alphabetically.

With 1gb to play with, number the files and copy them over - there's your playlist!

just connect it to your PC via the USB supplied and Windows XP will detect it as a new drive and assign a new drive letter to it.

Then using simply drag and drop the files from their location on your PC to the new drive and voila' they'll be copied onto your portable player ready to be played.

got one for my son today managed to transfer music video but when we we look in the music it says 'no file' and the only way we can find the songs is thru the browser wot are we doing wrong any ideas:confused:
