just connect it to your PC via the USB supplied and Windows XP will detect it as a new drive and assign a new drive letter to it.
Then using simply drag and drop the files from their location on your PC to the new drive and voila' they'll be copied onto your portable player ready to be played.0 -

I got one in Glasgow yesterday, before I read this post, and didn't know anything about the extra leads or case, so of course didn't get anything free.
Boo hiss.

Does anyone know whether you can "dump" photos onto this directly from a camera - that would be really useful.0

does this player have usual file managemnet i.e select by artist, album genre etc?Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

I got the last one today in the Trafford Centre. It didn't say anything about it coming with a box of cables and a case. What should I have asked for to get the cables and case and should this have been included in the price?
There are some cables in the box with the MP4, are these for something different? Might need to go back tomorrow to ask for the other bits.
Thanks.:smileyhea0 -

Thanks.
You should have been given two additional boxes. One for the leather case and one for the tv leads.

This is my first post.
Thanks for the link and info. I bought 2 units from Currys today (one for myself and for my son). The assistant was not aware of the free extra cable and case but found these when checked the computer (to his surprise!!). He had sold one the previous day but not given the "extras" so somebody has missed out.
Thanks again0 -
Ours was on display with a big sign saying comes complete with leather case and cables. go back and ask, tell them these items are part of the deal. Its also worth paying for the extended warranty for extra 2 years. Because it has been reduced to under £50 the warranty is only £10, but we asked if they would do a deal and got £3 of it.0

Thanks for your replies, I'll be going back and asking for a refund if they're awkward about the extra bits.
I took out the extended warranty as this was reduced to £6. Seemed a bit daft not to really.:smileyhea0
