    oh dear me.
its sunday its sunny we should all be glad but we are not.
people came to see car but offered rediculous price we nearly laughed.
so we will have to advertise and sell.
did my regular update to my list of debts and have discovered uk mortgage owed is now down from 374k in nov 08 to 368k ... thats good progress. also discovered have paid off 14k off cc/loans/hp debts too since nov 08 so thats definitely progress. but still a mountain to climb. still desperately needing holiday. i have a week holiday to sell on ebay - anyone interested in rent nice holiday home in cyprus for a week in may [not school hols tho] let me know.
anyway if there is anyone there reading this u must think im a complete freak to have so much debt but trust me it could be much much more... there is so much credit available to people its frightening.
    have a gd afternoon

    Afternoon,

Sorry about the car, some people just have a cheek

Congratulations on the debt totals, you've paid loads off :T...... it must be a great feeling.

I wish I had the money to take you up on the holiday to cyprus :rotfl:.....i'm sure they'll be loads of people interested in a holiday.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday....i'm being lazy and doing nothing at the mo.

    K x

P.S - I do have a diary, not much interesting though!

Good luck and stick in there. Its all relative tho isnt it. Your debt is probably in proportion to your earnings. This is especially true if you can pay all that off in 4 years!!

So in that respect it may not be a lot of debt.

Im servicing my small bit debt, altho have had a few relapses lately
Total Debt -was £14,700 aprox NOW £13,835
    Paying each month-800-850 (hopefully)
Hope to be debt free about aug 2010

  • Hi

Just read your diary, you seem so motivated at getting rid of the debt, shame I can't say the same for myself.

I'd love to take you up on the holiday but this year looks like me and OH are going to be booking the cheapest late deal possible (would miss out on holiday all together but have moved in with my parents to pay off debt so really need break!) and will probably be stuck in a horrible hotel and sleeping on our towels because the bed is so skanky!!! Either that or my dads tent in the back garden!!!

Hope that eBay is still bringing in big bucks, £800 is amazing, thats what OH gets paid in a month!!

    xxx

    hi silly jilly

i know EXACTLY what u mean about hotel beds. I am the worst. even in our cyprus holiday home [which i am supposed to be detached from - ie its for rent not for living in] i insisted on buying mattress toppers.. clearly i think im a princess!!! like the princess and the pea!

ebay storming ahead tonight i must update my sign as im almost up to £1000 since i started 5 weeks ago. when the kids are back then this house is history! cannot tell you how much i have spent on stuff we never needed. im a bit ashamed actually when i think what money we wasted. im still sure people dont believe the amount of debt we have and maybe think i have made it up but i have honestly analysed and added up all of it and its a grim picture.

still we will do it and every day goes by that we pay of a bit more.

do you have a diary on here?
i think that actually having the support of this forum and a place to 'dump' my feelings really helps. if people comment either for good or bad then thats great. if it makes people think about their debt and doing something positive then thats doubly great!
well sunday night ... hells kitchen for me tonight - thats watching.
must go and 'pretend' to iron. would buy another house to put ironing in if i could afford to... nah only joking!

Hope you have a good week and a relaxing evening! I've subscribed now so I don't have to keep going looking for your diary!
