well then, what have i been up to? Thats the big question.
definitely not had a no spend day. wrote cheque for the school fees, finally order a new hedge [ok ok dont go there], booked teh car for a service in may. but had a great ebay day / weekend and more to come.
in the time i have been on here i have really become more positive and focused on my quest. even if the debt was half by 2013 it would be a great achievement.
we didn tsell car but we will. we are putting a new advert on tonight.
i didnt book a holiday - but i might still sneak one in when no one is looking ha ha.
so onwards and upwards - thanks for popping in ....

I count my blessings that I'm not in the same position you have found yourself in. I've always been a prudent person and can't imagine ever getting myself into so much debt but who knows what the future may hold for anyone . I wish you all the best for the future and hope you get yourself sorted out.0

Good news on the settlement figure! Any progress is good isn't it! It would be amazing if you cleared even half by 2013. glad some work came in for you and that ebay is still going well.

Hey ho!
You told me to pop by on my diary, and take a peek at yours, and thanks, I've loved being very nosy!! LOL!
Well done on all you've done so far, I NEVER dreamt that saving money, and paying off debt would ever be classed as 'fun' in my books, but I'm loving it!! I used to throw my money away on clubbing at the weekends, DVD's, cinema visits, clothes, takeaways etc, blimey now I'm so stingy and my hubby is following in my footsteps which is great...hang on...am I growing up??? LOL!
I will keep track of your diary, thanks again for your post on my thread, speak soon I'm sure
