    Hello,

Just thought I would pop onto your diary and say hello :hello:

I'm hoping that you are asleep at the mo!! You and SH were up late last night!

I'm amazed at your ebay total - woo hoo :T I only wish I was as dedicated as you, I haven't a clue. Maybe if home working becomes a permanant fixture I could start getting into it.

    Have a lovely, restful day

    K x

    well its friday evening.
my little heart is beating rather faster than normal. there is a small to medium chance we might sell a car this weekend. this was a car that we 'lost' [best not to ask how - but careless to 'lose' a car anyhow - thanks to police we got it back. im hoping we will get good vibes from a buyer and then pay off an 8k loan with some left over for my imaginary holiday in the sun.
clearly its time for my medication... or maybe to up my medication....
my ebay is strong and storming ahead. i have a big sunday ahead with loads ending and bids and zillions of watchers already. hoping i get over the 1000 pound mark by monday!
    fingers crossed.
have great weekend.. dont know what the weather is like for sat and sun?

  • Soz no idea about the weather. Though I do like being indoors when its belting down outside. Makes me feel all peaceful and serene. This is not the case if I am riding. Then it makes me miserable and soggy.

Good luck with the ebaying. Still not done mine. I am probably the worlds worst procastinator.

Hi MrsC sorry for not popping into your diary more! You are doing so well on the ebay front - congratulations. You are evidently as dedicated and persistent on that front as I hope I am on getting my next job!

Give your OH a casino budget (if he insists) and refuse to let him out the house with cards of any type - he can only take cash when he goes. If my OH spent £800 on anything I would be so upset. Bless him he is sticking to the £5 a week free spend allowance much better than I am!

Sit him down - take him thro all the figures - torture him with it if necessary until he gets the message!

I asked my OH today how much he thought we had left in his account with 3 days to go until payday - he said £200? I said try 4 x that - he was amazed and really pleased. He congratulates me on turning the money around and says his only contribution is spending less. bless - especially as he is currently the only breadwinner! But that is the contribution you need to get your OH to make. It can take a while before they get their own LBM tho so don't give up!

well here we are saturday afternoon.
i am going to do the ironing.. yes before we all drown in it.
kids fighting so much i might actually just go sit in the car.
im considering putting myself up for adoption or joining a circus.
had big shouting at DH last night about irresponsible social spending and he did not agree he felt that spending his money how he wants is his reward for working hard. i said we should spend the money on ourselves and not in the pub.
got to go ... WWIII just broken out here.
    bye
    have a good weekend

You do make me laugh mrscmr :rotfl:I hope you've prevented WWIII starting!

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for both the car and e-bay :D

For some reason I have gotten a cleaning bug today and have blitzed every room, apart from spare room, from top to bottom. I've even scrubbed the kitchen cupboads...including on top....why I don't know  It must be the motivation of this site rubbing off on me ;)

Hope you have a good weekend x
