It should be a screen like this when you run it ~
You simply scan down the SOFTWARE list and remove the entries AVG and GRISOFT:idea:0 -
thats what i have done clciked on grisoft and agv and then clicked remove selected... but it brought the error code which i posted on the forum0

Uninstall every anti virus on your computer (avira if its on ~ im getting lost)
Install AVG 8
Reboot
Uninstall AVG 8 then use the removal tool
Run ccleaner again
reboot
Download GLARY UTILITIES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW' ~ UNTICK the ASK toolbar on installation)

Run the ONE CLICK scan
reboot and attempt Kaspersky installation:idea:0 -

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
!!!!!!, I INSTALLED a reg cleaner from google and you said i should install the right one- the one that you had put a link to..
so i uninstalled that and clicked on the link you provided and it brought me to registry mechanic. I appreciate your help but i dont think i am a muppet here.. have done my best and you seen it yourself that many way have proved unsucessfull on removing it.0
