Had the family at our house over Christmas and when the dogs went into the garden, they were let back in without being towelled off as it was so wet and muddy.

They had a good shake and have left my vertical blinds mud spattered. I've tried sponging off the spatters but made it look worse.

They are supposed to be washable blinds - but what's the best way to wash them?

Stardrops or Stardrops with Ammonia, just take them down and lie them in the bath in a solution of this overnight. (take thm off as a whole, not individually)

Hang on the line to dry, they come up as good as new, we do it 2 or three times a year.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Ours get put in a pillowcase and then in the washing machine.

Peg them out while wet and they should be crease free.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Do you take them down individually for that ariba? And let the washing machine do a normal spin cycle?

    Individually and a gentle wash.

If they do crease, just dampen them and hang them with the weights in.

I always roll mine up individually in a bowl with bio washing powder and let them soak then hang over padded washing line , and then hang them back up damp. I had one that creased and its never come out.
