My head hurts, it not a good idea to do four mystery shops in 2 hours especially when one of them is a 'phone' one with rediculously worded questionaire. My brain hurts a lot now.MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0

Would it be a RE questionaire at all?0 -

Those ones are so mind-bending! Worst is when you right a whole chunk, press Next andyou have to explain yourself again but just so slightly differently! I've done about 10 of them and I still need several breaks when filling in the form!

Yes, it almost certainly will. But that is not your problem, it is the MS company's problem. You are just doing as you are told. Last time I did one of *those* jobs, the staff were cleaning all the tables around me, waiting on me, and opening doors for me.
Basically, it means that the answers to your report are entirely inaccurate because any faults, problems or deficiencies in the restaurant will be instantly rectified, and the place will be almost perfect, and your report will be based on this.
In case you can't tell, this is something I feel quite strongly about - I think asking for receipts in certain places, such as the GAP fast food burger shop, is crazy. Having said that, I do understand why they would want to see a receipt - but surely recording the left/right and/or taking a photo would be sufficient/Dan

I've done several burger and chicken shops and asked for receipts but maybe I look gormless (god how do you spell it!!) as I have never had any extra treatment - often not even a smile. I always say I am working and able to claim my meal - obviously they believe me and probably jealous thinking 'lucky devil I don't get that' :rolleyes:0

I registered with them a while ago but haven't done any work for them yet - got the email through a couple of weeks ago asking to update my details as they have a new website so sent it off straight away.
I'll add it to my list & hopefully get some work from them eventually.................:D
HP - when you are up & about the two of us are going to do a Casino - that should be fun!!
Ooh that sounds great. I love casino's. I'll be in touch. Got a cold now on top of everything else then up early for my CAT scan.:TClique member no 1.:D0 -
Re: the RE website.
Thanks, blindman, I hadn't realised that you had always been able to see money owing on there. That's why I mentioned that I hadn't seen the old site.
I will definitely be sending an email about page loading times. On the odd occasions that there are a lot of jobs, the jobs page takes an age to load even on my home pc, and the few times I've braved it on while at work (ssh!), it's taken several minutes to load even if there aren't many jobs!
The four images per job certainly don't make it any faster!0 -

I think you'll need to contact Gap. That happened to me when they suspended my account as an email they sent to me bounced. Once I explained it was a one off and my email was fine, they reinstated me.Here I go again on my own....0 -

I'm with you jdan - I think these shops are farcical. The last one I did, (and the last one for this reason!) I had to pretty much run up the stairs when nobody was looking just so I could go to the toilet - I actually needed it too! When I got in there, I had Timmne Jnr in hand and in burst a manager who'd chased me up the stairs to ask if he could help!:rotfl::eek::o
The next time GAP called me to ask me to do one of these jobs I refused unless they would accept a photo (with time and date on) of the restaurant instead of a receipt. At the time, I think I was the only shopper who did these shops as I was raking it in on premiums and they really didn't want me to stop doing them!
The problem lies with the fact that the burger job is such a massive contract for them (probably the biggest) that they are just not willing to risk it by discussing the content of the jobs. If the customer wants to see a receipt as proof of the visit, the customer gets one. If the customer argues the times, they'll be trusted over the shopper.0
