I wish I knew what the ABA-i panel was - it hasnt provided anything of any real excitement other than some prize draw surveys!

Had an interesting phonecall from Gap today - I stopped working for them at the end of last year after being mucked around by them on cancelling long distance jobs etc. Deleted my details etc. They phone yesterday 'Hi Mike, Its Gapbuster here, are you still mad at us because you havent logged in for a few months. My manager said he would like to talk to you' - Needless to say I cut the conversation dead because they did cost me a lot of money at the end but was amazed when they admitted they dont delete your details even when you fill out the form, they just 'unsubscribe' you from accessing the portal - presumably so they can try and reinstate you in the future .......

My gosh Mike they must have thought loads of your work to beg to get you back. You must have been a bit flattered. I could be wrong but under Data Protection Laws are not.being naughty keeping your details.

Me being a nosy git and off sick and bored other then the odd shop here and there I am going to check if I can find an Ozzie MS'ing forum and see what they think of Gyp as they are an Ozzie company are they not.?

Just had an email from a Lewis Herbert of RQA with info about a job - delivering some wine to a company in Preston, Bexley, Luton or Somersham - one of the ones I don't remember registering with but just googled them and they seem legit - I'm nowhere near these places though - he said if anyone is interested to get in touch. They do product recalls etc.

Surely it's a NOTE or LETTER from your doctor. Or does he just write the details all on the same line on a piece of paper

joebloggsissickwithpneumoniaandwillbeoffworkuntiltwelvthmay2009.signeddrjohnsmith.

also, I wouldn't say "it were raining", I'd say "it was raining", but maybe this is something shortened if spoken in my local accent to something sounding like "it wu raining".

No doubt some of the weird midlanders would say "it were raining", in the same way as they says "We went Stoke" instead of "We went to Stoke". They're weird, but they make nice oatcakes!

I am a Gaelic speaker and know what everyone of you speak it without knowing it with a common phrase. It is smashing. That is the clue. Prize to 1st guesser.
I love the London/Southern accent. Awiteeluv. My absolute fav though is scouse. Even if they read the phone book I am howling with laughter. One of the reasons I love the lovely Bryyssn.apart from her scintillating personality is her accent.

She is a bit miffed I missed her out on my nickname list so henceforth she is . Wish I could post photos on here but she reminds me of the dark haired one on that show. As she reminds me of the dark haired "posh" one only much slimmer. Wish they would show that again on UK Gold.

A bit off topic but to those of you in 'Pool I hope you know all of Britain is with you today. I know we moan about the credit crunch etc but at least we are alive. As a Rangers fan I lost family when 66 of our fans died in the Ibrox disaster in 1971.

Puts things into perspective.

I assume it's OK to post it here - soon get told off by Timmne if not!

L.Herbert@rqa-europe.com

It's a good fee plus exp's for what he says is a quick job!

The email says if I know anyone in these areas to let them know, so just get in touch saying you've heard they need people to cover these jobs.

Good Luck!!
;)
