Good morning everyone :hello:
Gosh, what a difference a sunny day makes! Feeling very upbeat and positive today. It's the first day since my op that I have felt like sitting up at the table and doing a few bits and bobs rather than laying on the sofa. However, I can understand why my doctor extended my sick note to include this week - need to get used to doing 'normal' things again!
Didn't go on the internet at all yesterday but had a good day - me and OH visted a wedding fayre briefly and made an appointment with a florist. Also popped in to a garden centre.
Right on with my list before this turns into an essay!- Have done some light housework
- Two lots of washing at 30
- Line/airer dry
- Went to local shop (first walk on own!) to get some essentials - LSD
- Posted £1 cheque to ING to get my free £20
- Update my filafax
- Update spending diary
- Work out budget for month (payday 19/3)
- Plan birthday money spending - majority to be split between debt and savings
- Check emails
- Check online banking
- Signed up to 3 month free trial to Tesco DVD rentals - add some more titles to list
- Storecupboard meals
- Use free texts and free minutes to catch up with some friends
- Catch up with this thread and the weekend one
- Catch up on diaires
- Take it easy for rest of the day
Have a good day

Today I have
1) Signed up on here! Have been lurking for ages, thought it was time to join in!
2) Checked online banking and found I have £14 left until payday on Wednesday - but this is good as it' the first month in ages I haven't gone overdrawn.
And my plans for the rest of the day are:
1) Take leftover curry from last night to work to microwave for tea (I'm working til 11pm tonight)
2) Remember to take some milk and biscuits to work to avoid buying snacks and drinks from the vending machine
3) I need petrol so will use my "Morrisons Miles" card to collect some points as Morrisons is the cheapest place near here for fuel, and I am nearly due a £5 voucher;
4) Stop at another petrol station who have a free air line on my way to work, and check my type pressure.
5) Find a notebook to use as my spending diary
Is that enough for my first day on DFW??Happy New Year :beer:0 -
