But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking
 - update spreadsheets
 - move some money to savings
 - make a loaf in breadmaker
 - storecupboard lunch and tea
 - laundry hokey cokey for OH
 - ironing for me
 - reduce, reuse,recycle one thing
 - swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
 - aim for no spend day
 - sparkle a lot
 - use lots of smilies to cheer me up

Morning SM and all that follow!
Sat here waiting for 8.30 - doctors phone-lines open then and its always a pain to get through. Will start hitting the redial just before 8.30! Still deaf as a post this morning...its really disconcerting! Throat still bothering me too. Think they may as well just put me down!!
Anyway, here's my efforts for today:
* Start a new "to do" book after Piglet liberated my other one and scribbled all over it
* Storecupboard dinner (cooked double of a roast last night)
* Ironing possibly if I can be ar*ed!:rotfl:
* Check on-line banking
* Do any surveys that come through
* Not a NSD - need milk but will resist all other goodies
* Heating off as quite sunny
* Try and work up energy to make Twinks hobnobs
Thats all for today!
Have good days everyone

Having day off work today as feel so wiped out still - hoping I can get a doctor appointment. I'm wondering if I'm anaemic again, has happened before as the Crohn's stops my body absorbing iron and B12. Hopefully get it sorted soon. Have just got the girls off to school, so waiting for doc surgery to open, then off to bed probably!
I'll write a little list anyway...keep me on track;)- Check banking

Yay its Monday, back to work!
Feeling really good this morning (not too sure why) the sun is shining, I am able to hang washing outside (so my T Shirts smell lovely)
Today I have/Will:
• Breakfast at home
• Charged my mobile while electric is cheap
• Out of bed at 5, showered and dressed by 6:30
• About to make lunch to take into work
• Washing already in the machine, should be done in time to hang out to dry while I am at work
• Done daily scratchy – 25p
• Checked on seedlings – my fennel has started to grow
• Might pop into town after work and return a pair of trousers that I bought and I now regret buying
• Checked online banking – no surprises there
• Emailed an agency who sent me a text on Friday wondering whether I was still looking for work
• Emailed my previous agency to advise them that 1) I have claimed holiday – do they need to do anything 2) chasing my bonus from previous job 3)advising them that I am still available for interviews etc
• Dinner from storecupboard
Think that is about it, take care everyone and have a good day
Hugs to anyone who needs them x

            Morning All :hello:
It is gorgeously sunny today :j and I went to see DD at the weekend :j so will include some of the weekends work
Grey woolly socks? So what! I SPARKLE!
So today I have/will:- been to the gym to use membership, and use their hot water and toiletries

 - charging phone at work
 - brought in packed lunch (HM beetroot & goats cheese pasties
) - continue building raised bed with pallets free from work - they're quite difficult to disassemble this is taking time :rotfl:
 - germinating parsnips on kitchen paper, planted some chilli peppers and my sweet peas and garlic are foing really well (I'm surprised!) Someone on this forum told me about a sale last Autumn at Wyvale of their really old stock - I have LOADS of seeds, but it'll be a lottery if they grown or not.
 - Preparing toilet rolls, with used teabag at the bottom and filled with soil for all those seedlings that hate their roots being disturbed. :money:
 - Checked my mortgage with the new calculator that Martin has made, but to redeem my fixed rate mortgage early would incur a penalty of £4,500   (we'll wait until September
 )
*NB do not skim read, Bank, Lodger not only turns into Bodger, you then end up with an irritating tune in your head :rotfl:0 - been to the gym to use membership, and use their hot water and toiletries
