Good point A quick look around the interweb suggests the first immigrants to the UK tunred up around 150 BC. Prior to that it was all Stoneage and Celtic era people.

150 BC significant trade with the continent and thus some immigration
    55BC Romans
    5th century Anglo Saxons
    9th century Vikings
    11th century Normans

And so on and so forth for the rest of English history.

DNA tests from all peoples around the world show we've (everyone on the planet)all descended from Africa.

    !!!!!!!!.

Your entire posting history over the last few weeks has been littered with postings illustrating such things as foreigners taking jobs, foreigners using up NHS and the welfare state without contributing taxes (kind of contradictory to the first point, but never mind) and foreigners creating social unrest and crime wherever they settle in the UK.

Coming behind and issuing faux apologies doesnt cut it.

Whether you like it or not, you have positioned yourself in the board's collective mind as a bigot at best, and a racist at worst.

    Well done.

While I agree with you I think an apology is something that should be received well. Dervish often implies he/she speaks for the silent majority, yet the reponse has shown here that he/she is the minority. Perhaps if this is a comfortable positio to be in it allows space for personal development? :)

I apologise if you are offended or upset by the OP. That was not my intention.

I have no personal animosity to any foreign worker who is currently here - I was simply musing over ways to solve the problems of unchecked immigration.

I hhave deleted / altered the OP.

    Again I apologise.

60 posts later you decide to delete/alter your orginal post...why? because another poster has put that they hope you get get banned? or because you knew exactly what you were doing and wanting to acheive..you posted and then disappeared for abit - your intention was most definately to offend...and you made it known of your animosity towards foreign workers by the title of the thread...musing !! dont insult me

Read those posts about how British people are a bunch of violent thugs and you'll have an idea.

Or Thailand, where I've been living.

The behaviour of my fellow immigrants there makes me ashamed to be British.

Trust me the spanish would be a lot worse off without the british expats/holidaymakers.
