A very early good morning to you all :hello:
Have been woken up with really bad toothache. I have a horrible feeling that it could be my wisdom teeth. Thought I would pop on while I wait for the painkillers to kick in!

"Happy Mother's Day" to all you mummy's out there. Have a really lovely and special day - you all deserve it! :T I had my first 'proper' Mother's Day cards form dd and ds this year, made at school and nursery; they are definetly going in the memory box! They are such beautiful cards (sorry, having a proud mummy moment!) :D My daughter made biscuits at school for Mother's Day, which they put in little boxes that they had made. dd, (she is nearly 5) came running out of school with this little box saying "Mummy this is for you for Mother's Day. You can have a look and then I have to eat them!" At least the thought was there!

Have a great day everyone x

PS. Did finish Friday's list, didnt get a spare minute to post .

This is just too funny - scary how true it is!!

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ... But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter ..either my
radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!

    Have a look at this.

Phil i agree with all the others!! it's so not your fault! if it's really that bad then everyone should have seen it coming - don't get yourself down over it! and you are doing the right thing to concentrate on yourself and your family for now! Hug.gif

tiamai re the corkboard: we've bought some self adhesive cork tiles and put them on one door - works a treat!!!

we had a lovely day ystd. to get out of the house for all the viewings we handed the keys over at the first one and went off to a new playground we've discovered the other day (i think we know ALL playground in 25miles distance from here ) - kids had great fun and after 1.5hrs we fell into the nearby carvery and had a nice lunch! and came back just in time for the last viewing and get the keys back :j (we were gone 4.5 hours and no fighting or shouting :T - that's what i like!!)

and apparently today dh will take the kids to see his mum (an hours drive away) - ALL day!!!! AND kids didn't wake me for once and i was up first  (it was 6am but i went to bed early :o) - dh is still asleep so obviously i can't wait for him to get up :D - hmmmm, i could help there

    Morning All :hello:

I'm up, but may be sloping back off to bed in a minute. Happy Mother's Day to all and sundry! :D I hope all the mummies will be spoiled today! :)

We're off to my lovely Dad's for lunch. can't wait. It's gorgeous here today too, so the girls will be playing in the garden.

I had a ludicrously late night last night, and ended up bickering with the OH, but, he's up and wished me Happy M's Day, and is making coffee as we speak, so clearly all is well. :D Glad he's ok, I was really foul to him!!! :p

Dusty how are you feeling today? (((hugs)))

Toots I really miss you. Hope your internet stops playing up. And hope you're feeling ok. ~~~~~~sending 'stop playing up computer, and muscles behave' vibes to you.

Valli I hope my PM made sense????? I was very [STRIKE]drunk[/STRIKE] tired and emotional last night. :o

Abbie that's gorgeous. They are so much fun at that age, enjoy looking at your biscuits!!!! I'd insist on a least a bite!!! :)(well, if I'm honest, I'd insist on eating them all, but I'm a mean mummy!! )

G&B uurrrgggg.... what is it then? I really thought it was zero! :o

mozzy hope you have a great day AND some peace and quiet

Phil- agree with what every one else has said. Just remember we are here if you need/want us

Quillion Thanks for that link

I have to phone DH up at 7.30 as he is picking up DS and DD although it doesn't look as pleasant out there today as yesterday.
May try and get some things marked of the list while they are gone. Would ove to go back to sleep but know I wouldn't actually get to sleep and would just nd up with a headache.
Will be going round mums later to give her her present and card. Only trouble is she then has my NOISY children in the house

Triker - thank you for the pretty numbers. They've changed now though. But you have your own pretty pattern at this moment in time:

Another lovely day here today by the looks of it. I've got some paperwork to do, a website to update and a newsletter to compile and print. I'm also off to DD's this afternoon for a cup of tea. The rest of the day, I think, will be spent planting more seeds.

Just seen that Jade has died today. I'm not a big one for celebrity culture, but that has made me feel very sad :( Poor girl. And now two more children without their Mum. I do hope they'll have someone sensible and stable in their lives.
