Rach - I hope DH relaxes about the studying soon - I have exactly the opposite problem with DS1 studying!
Lil_me I hope your DS settles down for the night soon
Phil - big hugs, you sound just the sort of caring person schools need
Piggers - brainwaves being sent to you
Vanilla hope all is well with the bump
Toots still thinking of you
Right the cake should be cool enough to come out of it's tin so I'm off to bed now. See you all tomorrow xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

How many fence panels , what height, what type of panels do you want / need, do you need any posts as well?
Sorry kaz I didn't see your post until just now. Typical me likes the expensive panels :rotfl::eek:. We own the fence between us and next door AND the one at the bottom of the garden. The side one is 6 panels long (well a tad over) and I was thinking of putting concrete posts and gravel boards so I can slot in the panels and make them easier to replace if required. 12" gravel board and 5 foot panels or 6" gravel board and 6 foot panels. Saw some similar to this today but not sure I can justify the cost. Thinking I will leave the fence at the bottom of the garden as it is for now, cost and time being the main reasons.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Dusty - it's good the boys have their treasures. Of all the things that I kept of my Dad's when he passed on, the one that I polish the most is his posh walking stick. It came in very handy when I damaged my knee a few years ago. It rests in the living room, next to the settee.
ZCC, be careful on walks! My DH went out for a walk at the new year, I'm so glad I decided not to go! It was meant to be a four hour walk, with a pub lunch. The pub was busy so service was delayed, and then they got lost in the dark trying to find the car park. They were gone from 10am to 6pm! I was worried! Babes lost in the woods!
Have endured THREE rugby matches today, altho slept through quite a bit of them. Now I've had to stop watching Notting Hill so that DH can watch MOTD. I knew I would have to stop, and it was a happy bit to end on, repeat after me: MOTD is sacred and nothing must stop him watching it.
Think I will go to bed and read for a bit! Night all, sleep tight"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Dusty my name is unusual and I don't come up on google
yes eventually you'll get ****** is on Facebook but that is all, still have to look through the other ones before finding me so same as searching on Facebook.
Right DS1s eventually gone off, all you people thinking of us must help. Changed my mind completely with what article I am using for my second one on my assignment. Just hope I'm getting it right. Decided as it's only a 10% of overall mark assignment and I only have until Monday to get it sent off I am spending no more time stewing, going to make notes tonight then hopefully get it done tomorrow. 1000 words can't be that hardNOT!
DPs just wound me up, he knows I don't like his mother but because he's out ALL DAY tomorrow he's asked me to send her an ECard for Mother's Day. Last year he didn't even get me a card, not even an ECard **Snarls** said 'you're not my mother'. Just don't get it do they? Anyway, I've forgothe can do it himself.
I need to get something out for dinner tomorrow, invited my Mam over, told DP he can shift his junk off the table before he goes away in the morning so we can sit at the table. I'll have to go get her something too as I wasn't going to go over until Monday but changed my mind now he's away all day.
Right, off to do some notes.......One day I might be more organised...........

Evening, just had a right strop with my husband, I'd wanted to get all out outstanding tasks out of the way today so that tomorrow could be a really relaxed day for us (except we want a new suite). It was not to be, hubby went for a long bike ride which meant I didn't get much done as I was child watching, and then came back and has sat watching the football with our son - who should have been in bed hours ago!!! So todays jobs get carried forward to mothers day (harumph). Hopefully tomorrow will bring peace and tranquility back to the house. Happy Mothers Day to you all!!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0
