(depending on your food price per head), tell him you can't afford it with all the other costs, but if he's willing to have jam sandwiches instead of the catering you can run to primark and get a nice pair of trousers/shirt/tie

  • I am getting married this June and we are having a budget wedding with casual dress just trousers and shirt for men.

My boyfriends brother who has just come back from a weeks holiday abroad (we cannot afford a holiday abroad) says he cannot afford to buy any clothes for our wedding as he likes expensive branded names - so he has told my fiance that they should hire suits etc and my fiance foots the bill.

He is making it a bit of an issue in saying that he cannot afford to buy an outfit as he is skint, money is tight, not much work on and they have a 1 year old baby.

What do you advise us to do and say to him.

    Thanks

Sounds to me he's used to having things his own way hun! Dont give in to him! If he can afford a weeks holiday - he can afford trousers and a shirt for his brothers wedding!!!!

Sorry if that sounds nasty but you have enough to pay for :)
