Just decided to read this thread as i fancied doing some sunday shopping. i'm very impressed, thanks OP.
Found some gorgeous hush puppy shoes i've been coveting for ages! just no idea whether i need a 6 or a 7. should i get both and send one back? are they good with returns?

Their stock control and order control is useless .

Ordered on the 24th February , main item out of stock 4 days later so refunded and order still in progress. Emailed on friday and got a useless stock reply saying thanks for your patience .

If order is not marked as in transit tomorrow they can cancel and refund the lot .

NOT IMPRESSED !

Their website says:
"In the unlikely event that you wish to return goods because you are not completely satisfied with them, please send the items back to us by post, at your own cost. (Please send jewellery items with a value in excess of £50 by Registered Post). A full refund will be processed on receipt of the items back into our warehouse. We process returns as soon as they are received, but during busy times there may be a slight delay."

No idea how it works in real life though. You could try their Sheffield shop on the Moor, they did have some of the ladies Hush Puppies in there, though more expensive than on the web. At least if you found the shoes you were looking for there, you could try them on and then order the correct size off the web!

So it does, but lots have posted on here saying things like " ordered on 28th and delivered 3 days later " .

Surely any decent stock control system should allocate items in stock to confirmed orders and not allow orders of out of stock items , not refund because someone who ordered 3 days after you got their order processed first .

As I said , their stock control and order control is useless !

Oh I see, I didn't notice anyone ordering later having already received their orders. I've been keeping an eye out to try gauge when mine should arrive ... I ordered on the 27th ... and hadn't spotted any, but I received email today anyway that my order has now been despatched, so fingers crossed it will be here tomorrow!

got the red hush puppies i usualy take a 6 although i have been known to buy a 5 and 1/2 before now, the 6 in the hush puppies fit perfectly and were really comfy HTH

my delivery was received three days ago
some items are missing though they have been ticked on the packet
no satisfactory reply from customer services

I've received only part of an order made on 24 Feb, though got an email to say the rest was dispatched today.

Like an earlier poster there was a chip on a mosaic pot in a set of 3, but when I emailed, they replied straightaway to offer a refund, and said I could keep the pot set in any case.

As long as the other stuff arrives soon, I'll be very pleased with this site.
