Where do you find the cheapest place is to buy Tendskin? I have found it on Amazon but it is quite pricey. Do you use the spray or the lotion?
thanksfor effective waxing you need to try and grow the hair for about a month or it wont get all the hairs so if you havent got enough time before you go then waxing probably isnt the way to go! but it does last for weeks so its good if you can wait. the spots are usually ingrowing hairs so try exfoliating before and after shaving, you dont need anything fancy, just a small handful of sugar or salt will do the trick, and repeat 3 or 4 times a week, or theres a product called tendskin which is meant to be quite good at stopping ingrown hairs.Ellie

Go for it, you will wish you had done this years ago! The first time is more painful but after that it's ok, just a bit of discomfort but well worth it. I get u/arms, full leg and hollywood every 4 weeks - even when the hair grows back it is much finer and gets more sparse and it frees up all that hassle of shaving daily. It's not very money saving though as it costs me £60 a month...
Also any partner will thank you as there won't be any nasty stubble rash on their skin when getting close
As Emlou said, there is a product called Tendskin which will get rid of any ingrowing hairs - it works really well and very fast.
Hi Kirri
what is the best place to get Tendskin and do you use the spray or the lotion?

Another good solution for shavers is PFB Vanish, which as far as I can tell does the same thing as Tendskin. I haven't tried Tendskin myself, but I'm very impressed with the PFB vanish. I buy it in roll on bottles, and it lasts me for approximately 6 months - though it does seem pricey! I'm one of those unlucky ones who gets ingrowing hair in my arm pits or anywhere I shave/wax if I don't take some proper precautions. Using PFB Vanish and a lotion containing Aloe Vera (I use a Vaseline Aloe Vera moisturiser daily on my shaved bits) also seems to help prevent ingrowing hairs.
To get rid of ingrowing hairs (as well as using something with Aloe Vera in it on your shaved bits) is to press a hot damp cloth against the shaved/waxed area to bring ingrowing hairs to the surface, then gently tweeze them out with some sterilised needle tipped tweezers. If you can't be bothered with the hot cloth, a long soak in the bath will have the same effect. Exfoliating before shaving also helps to prevent ingrowing hairs. Though be careful if exfoliating when you already have ingrowing hairs, as this can irritate the problem even more, and lead to infection.
If you shave, another thing that helps is to use hair conditioner on the shaving area as it's cheaper than shaving foams/creams and has the same effect. Make sure you leave whatever shaving lotion you choose on the skin for at least 3 minutes before shaving, and never go against the grain if shaving - this just irritates the skin.
Lovingly posted by someone cursed with ingrowing hairs in all areas, regardless of hair removal method. This is not an automated signature - I type this after every post.0 -

Haha i want a bikini wax now lol!
I once cut myself shaving with a razor
Not nice.
Im going on hliday in may so i was thinking of getting an all over wax and then maintain it for my wedding next year0 -
After reading this thread I am going to call the beautitian tomorrow and book in for a bikini wax  Have had it done twice before but not for a while.
One problem though Im never really too sure what Im asking for! Lol. Was quite disappointed last time as I couldnt really see that much of a difference, Im not the smallest of girls so tend to get really embarassed but hey!
Can anyone offer any advice? How do I say I want it small and tidy but dont go 'under there' :rotfl: :rotfl:Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -
This thread is the best :rotfl::rotfl:
I wax my own bikini line (its really not that bad) but I seem to get regrowth after a few days. Is it worth me paying to get it done professionally? Somewhere in my mind I'm reasoning that it'd last longer if I had it done professionally - I know there isn't much longer in that but humour me on this one0 -
