Bikini Waxing?

how much hair do i need to leave before i go for a wax

i keep wanting to go for one but if i see hair i freak out and shave it all off, poor oh has developed a rash though so im convinced its stubble rash off me:eek:
will two weeks growth be enough
a month seems a horrible long time to cope with! ***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -
There are a few others over on the pregnany thread which have said the same thing.
I have to confess I would be completely freaked out though to think that my (male) doctor would even notice whether I'd waxed or not, or would care whether I had or hadn't!
If you end up having to have a c section they will shave you for free with a mans electric razor  Quite moneysaving but very itchy regrowth wise!
A friend of mine had her bikini line waxed to go away on holiday when she was 16 and the hair never grew back! - how cool is that! certainly saved her a few bob over the years!0 -

That would be brill. I had laser treatment on my underarms a few years ago because the hairs there grew really thick and fast (like a man's beard - lovely). I couldn't afford to finish the treatments (these were pre-MSE days and were paid for on a credit card), but I'm still happy I did it - now I only shave them once a week at most and there's only a few very fine hairs that grow.0 -

and, umm, bottom? ALL of the underneath? (cripes I bet that hurts), and bottom... well, surely not the cheeks?? Which only leaves one other bum part, which would have to be, well, pulled apart... ? (sorry, I tried so hard to word this post politely)
(Disclaimer: I do not have hairy bum cheeks.)

You can keep your knickers on if you want or they give you paper ones and they just move it around when needed.

I was asked once if I could hold one of my 'flaps'.....just to help her out....made me sound like an aeroplane about to land. :rotfl:A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0

Lucky you! - I had 2 sections and both times before I went to theatre they got an electric razor and dry shaved the pubic area! - very itchy afterwards to add to the discomfort of the section wound - yuk!0 -

It took me ages to word it! I kept deleting it and starting again.I was asked once if I could hold one of my 'flaps'.....just to help her out....made me sound like an aeroplane about to land. :rotfl:
That's so so funny. It's just made me think of an article I read in a magazine about embarrassing incidents and this girl wrote in about going to the loo at the doctor's just before her smear test. There was no loo paper so she used a tissue that was loose in her handbag. During her smear test, the nurse pulled a postage stamp out of her pubes that must have been stuck to the tissue from her bag. Things like this worry me - what if that happened during a brazilian?0
