This thread is the best :rotfl::rotfl:

I wax my own bikini line (its really not that bad) but I seem to get regrowth after a few days. Is it worth me paying to get it done professionally? Somewhere in my mind I'm reasoning that it'd last longer if I had it done professionally - I know there isn't much longer in that but humour me on this one :D

It's depends on yours. You can try to get some professional advice on permanent hair removal. I'm quite sure you can found lot of info from internet too. However, remember, always ask the pros before since it'll hurt you if not get it done correctly.

bumped it! how long to wait for hair to grow please:confused:
ive gone a few days now n it not looking good:eek:

Not sure if this got answered, sorry pinkcandyfloss. I usually grow mine for a good few weeks, which sounds a long time but hair grows in cycles and not all of it will be coming out at once if you know what I mean (sorry, that's badly explained!) I think you should be aiming for a length of around 1/4 of a inch.

    Enjoy your waxing!

P.S. Don't go if you're due on - it hurts more!

Haha i want a bikini wax now lol!

I once cut myself shaving with a razor :'(

    Not nice.

Im going on hliday in may so i was thinking of getting an all over wax and then maintain it for my wedding next year :D

Make sure you wear a hat on your holiday then; you'll get terrible sunburn on a waxed head otherwise :o

After reading this thread I am going to call the beautitian tomorrow and book in for a bikini wax  Have had it done twice before but not for a while.

One problem though Im never really too sure what Im asking for! Lol. Was quite disappointed last time as I couldnt really see that much of a difference, Im not the smallest of girls so tend to get really embarassed but hey!

Can anyone offer any advice? How do I say I want it small and tidy but dont go 'under there' :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did she ask you to pull your knickers to one side for her while she waxed? If so, pull them to wherever you want to be waxed to and ask her to do it to the knicker line.

Try not to be embarrassed :o - don't forget they do this all the time; brazilians and hollywoods too - they're not going to be fazed by a simple bikini wax.

I shaved a week ago for the first time and OMG the stubble and rash was horrid and the regrowth was baaaaaaaaad, so bad that I have today used Boots bikini cream product.

It hasn't caused any irritation even though I still have a rash, in fact I look look I should nip down to my local clinic and get myself looked at! I am moisturising everyday though - twice!

Probably more than I do to my own face :-)

I think I will continue with the cream, would love to go the whole hog and get waxed but trying hard to save a the mo - never ever going anywhere hear my bits with a razor ever again!

I'm intrigued by the brazilian; what areas does it get rid of? I know it leaves you with a strip at the front, but did someone say they do 'underneath' :o and, umm, bottom? ALL of the underneath? (cripes I bet that hurts), and bottom... well, surely not the cheeks?? Which only leaves one other bum part, which would have to be, well, pulled apart... ? (sorry, I tried so hard to word this post politely)

(Disclaimer: I do not have hairy bum cheeks.)

    Have a look here.
