hey angie
if you've got some money left over after doing an income and expenditure sheet, before you put in the amounts you pay for your cards and loans, then you might want to think about a debt management plan. But whatever you do, don't pay for it. When I was at the CAB i used to tell people to contact Payplan cause its a free debt management plan - heres the link - http://www.payplan.com/
if thats not for you, then if you need any help in the future, just post on here, thats what we're all here for!x0 -

I will then have a look at the fridge and buy more fruit and veg oh and milk as i think they will be the only things we need, and that can cost no more than £6 per week, so £12 for the rest of the month.
After that i will re do the list and see how far into April I can get.
Im also going to get into doing my daily clicks again and check on any survey sights.
Edit. forgot to add, plenty of cat food / litter and cleaning bits along with washing bits to last a while.0 -
Morning,
Im going to be busy today, need to clean the flat, as DS tutor will be here at 11, only a quick once over with the cloth and the hover.
Also today going to find any old mobiles and get a price on them, I checked the priced of my LG prada phone and one of the sites said it was worth over £100 so that could help alot with clearing the debt.
Also going to have a search around for anything that can go on ebay or books that can go on amazon.
I feel list coming on
1, quick once over in flat
[STRIKE]2, find any old phones, get prices, ready to send them asap[/STRIKE] These arnt worth as much as i thought they would be
3, have a search for any thing that can be sold / cleared out
4, bake something sweet for DS lunches
[STRIKE]
5, prep dinner, ready for when we come back from the park
[/STRIKE]6, try to clear some of washing mountain, check my wardrobe for anything not worn and ebay!
HMMMM, need to try harder to actully do the things on the list!!! :rotfl:
So really today is a no spend, as DS tutor is already budgeted for, its expensive and its only his second week but im hoping that it will raise his confidence with his writting and maybe eventuly he will do the work at school. I will still continue reading with him and doing his work books but his tutor is experienced and very good with him. So she is going to stay for the next two months or so.
Hope everyone is enjoying their sunday!0 -
As others may have suggested start a spending diary. In tehory I have over £700 a month left over - how come I can never find it !! I intend to start a spending diary as well. The odd thing here and there which you really don't need soon adds up;)0

Def going to start a diary, i have so many note books to chose from!
Thanks!0 -
angie_baby would it be worth charting your progress in your signature, many of us find this very motivating.
Days out: look into reducing the cost by finding free, cheap or activites which you use your clubcard points etc. Can you take some food & drink out with you even if its just snacks, I find this can save a fortune. Does your local cinema do kids club showings, ours does at the weekends as well as in the school holidays, cost £2.50 a child and adult goes free, we always take home popped corn, fruit and drinks :money:Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
One income, home educating family0 -
Is the child care costs term time only? do they go up in the school holidays? or is this an average taking into account any increase in the holidays? As you may need to adjust your SOA so you can save towards an extra costs in the holidays.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hi Ange - I notice that you have nothing down for christmas/birthday/haircuts etc. Look at www.makesenseofcards.co.uk where you will find a complete SOA - complete that as it will help you to make sure you have left nothing out of your monthly income/expenditure.
As others have suggested, start a spending diary, coz my guess is that you are spending more than the £100 pm for taking your ds out at weekends.
I would also go to www.whatsthecost.co.uk which will ensure that you are paying off the correct debts in the correct order. My guess is that your Vanquish debt has the highest apr? This will also give you a debt free date (DFD) which will help you focus and give you something to aim for.
Good luck with your journey and well done for posting! When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -

Hi,
Just before i logged onto here, i exhanged £17.50 worth of clubcard vouchers into days out vouchers which are now worth £70. There are a couple of bits in London that i really want to do which will only take up £25 and i wanted to take DS to the tower of london too, but thats quite expensive, but if im paying with vouchers it works out quite well.
Going to def check out the local cinema :beer:0 -
