Thanks Baileys Babe!
Must admit im not really getting alot done today
Never mind
Have entered some comps and not really done alot else.
Need to make up some of twinks hobnobs for Joes lunches next week, ive just frozen the last of the bagels before they go off and the kitchen was clean before i started making the veg curry.
Need to go to Mr T's later, will go at around 7ish to see if they have got any good bargins reduced. Need the usual milk and fruit, going to spend my £10 that was given to me from a lady at work on a dvd maybe, have still got 1/2 a bottle of wine in the fridge left from last week and will get some lemonade to have with it tonight when i have my long soak in the tub with my lush goodies.
Really need to do some house work, i just dont have the energy to clean :rolleyes:0 -
Evening,
Well not alot done and ive over spent on the food budget. I now have enough food to last for ages
I spent a total of £33.67, but i had an extra £10 but even at £22.67 ive spent too much. Money was spent on fabric conditioner, bin bags, milk, fruit, salad bits, hallomi (sp) and mozzerella cheese, butter x2, baking tray, x2 quorn chicken pieces (£1 each), cream cakes, prawns, fish fingers, part baked rolls cat food. I had to buy more dry food as the cat worked out how to get into the cupboard and i came home to 4 open ripped boxes yesterday spread all over the floor, the new food is now in a cereal box so he cant get at it :rotfl:
Also bought a few bits that were reduced some chicken breasts knocked down from £5.49 to £2.09 and some potato cakes at 31p, going to have these for breakie tomorrow with scrambled egg and some smoked makeral that needs using up.
I didnt mean to spend so much and im quite peed with myself that i did. But i do feel comforted by the fact the cupboards are full
But dinner was gorgeous we ended up having veg curry for lunch (3 portions in the freezer) For dinner i had fried hallomi cheese salad while Joe had salad but with prawn cocktail on instead and some mozzerella. We also had a cream cake for afters. I really need to stop buying these
Still need to work out my meal plan for the next week, there is so much to chose from and i could probily meal plan for the rest of the month only needing to buy pots, milk and fruit.0 -
Morning All,
Have done a bit around the house, it still never looks clean though
Joes tutor is here today, after that we are going to drive down to the river with my dad to walk the dog, Joe wants to take his bike aswell. Shouldnt really need to spend any money, might buy an ice cream for Joe but thats about it.0 -
Morning All,
Had a nice day yesterday, Joe is making progress with his tutor which is good. Its his first day back today so dreading what it may bring, hopefuly he will behave today as his has the promise of borrowing my dads PS2
Had a nice walk along the river yesterday, drove up to richmond and walked for miles, Joe had a ball on his bike. My dad took us to a lovely pub for a drink and a bite to eat - Dads girlfriend was playing on the fruit machine where she won £200 so they paid which was nice as i didnt have any money anyway.
Had to get the train in today
So back to spending money! Need to update my sigs as i still havent updated the food budget yet.
Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.0 -
Oooooh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! for the weekend - sounds like you had a nice time - and plenty of pamper bits - no excuse not to take some time out and chill now!!
Boo to having to spend money getting to work - and on the train as well. I am lucky as in I jump in my car (all the traffic is heading in the opposite direction!!) and 20 mins later I hop out at work. It still costs money though!!
Well here we are - another week!! At least you won't run out of food!!!
Be back later - have a good day!
ps, glad Joe is making progress with his tutor!! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Thanks Nats,
Well didnt get the early train in and ive got to leave early today aswell as i have a meeting with Joes school (we were ment to have it in Dec)
Im taking my dad with me as otherwise they wont take me seriously  Ive decided that i need to be a bit firmer with the school, not just go, oh ok. Ive always supported them, even when i dont agree with them really, now ive got to grow some balls as they say and stand my ground!
First meeting is with the behavour outreach lady, then a second meeting with the head, SENCO and his class teacher, oh this is going to be so fun fun. Please can everyone wish me luck!
On the brighter side, ive found another use for my GHD's (xmas pressie) they are very good for ironing those tops that just have a coller and then a jumper for the rest, im not very good at explaining things, but they take seconds to iron with GHD's! :rotfl: Still made a mess of my hair though
Hope everyone is ok today!0 -

Happy Birthday for last weekend. Sorry have neglected you been a bit rough recently. Hope the meeting with school was successful. I agree with you about that safe and cosy feeling when the cupboard is full. I love books too, can just loose yourself. What are the competitions you do?
