.Hi all, I may start to feel a bit more positive now. Had to have my old dog put down yesterday, he'd been poorly for a couple of weeks, Now have to spring clean the house as it smells of old dog, fortunately love cleaning and find it theraputic and am on holiday this week so no excuses really.
Got some ideas for you for Joe's room already! Buy either a packet of sugar soap or washing soda(70p from supermarkets) and wash walls, that will get bluetac marks off. Try places like Wilkinsons for paint, I've used it and its good and very MSE. The cabin type beds are great for small spaces, Rob had one when he was small. Just don't try to move it too often. Also try joining your local freecycle group. I'm in ours and recently gave away several pairs of curtain s and bedding, some were new, but they have on there anything you could want, sometimes even paint. The other thing I found great with Rob when he was small was colourful plastic boxes, the stacking ones were best, great for toys and to encourage tidying up! Also wheeled veggie racks are brilliant for little bits storage. I know what you mean about about limited space, my house is a housing association one too and I don't think they were designed for people who were not into mimimialisim! My hall is 31" square, trying to get anything big in is a nightmare. Keep up the goodwork.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Oh thats so sad robsmum

Thanks for the tips, I should at least start preping the room ready for it to be decorated. As you said paint is quite cheap and it would instantly chear the room up.
Your right HA places are so tiny, i cant complain too much though the rent is resonable for a 2 bed in the south east. And its sucure, at least i know the landlord wont ever sell up, etc.
The area is rubbish though, another man was shot last night 5 mins away from me! A boy was stabbed a few weeks ago, its scary
what is wrong with these people?
I cant wait to be debt free and and to be able to start saving for a deposit for a place of my own

Have entered a few comps this morning, so def need to start being more positive!
Need to get back to quidco and the likes too. Was also thinking about having a read on the matched betting thread too, have no idea how it works at the moment, but will have a read up on that.
Dinner ended up to be pesto pasta last night as i forgot to get the chicken breasts out! Mind you i can now have them for another meal instead.
Hope everyone is a little dryer than i am this morning, the office roof leeks so ive got rain and buckets for company today :rotfl:0 -

:j I am a very lucky mum :j
My dad is working today and so is his girlfriend so my dad took me too the pub for a birthday drink yesterday. Joe walked into the pub with a pink gift bag and a huge ballon with happy birthday mum on it love joe xxx
Oh and Joe found an old pic of me from over 9 years ago now stuck to it
Im not to impressed that my dad thought it was ok to bring Joe to the pub on a friday night but the idea was lovely
Stayed an hour there with Joe playing pool and this ballon tied to my chair! Joes idea, nice but everyone was looking at me
So was woken up this morning at 6.45 with my bag and a half made cup of tea (Joe isnt allowed to put the kettle, but can get it all ready)
I got loads of lush goodies - bath bombs / face pack / bubble bars and a new bottle of lacoste, touch of pink :j
My dad prepared as ever managed a card and 10 lucky dips, 2 for last night and 8 for today.
Havent checked last nights yet.
So at the moment im being pestered by Joe to for either him to make me more tea / breakfast or run me a bath. So im getting scrambled eggs on toast for breakie :j
Joe also wanted to take me out to F&B for dinner so he could surprise me with a birthday cake (I did this for Joe on his birthday) but i have had to tell him i know about the surprise and explain that we dont have enough money to go out really, but we will do something at the end of the month
(My dad is skint and so am I, i cant justify spending £60+ odd on a meal)
So today is going to be quite a peaceful day, just pottering around, getting bits ready for Joe going back to school and the likes. Need to do a meal plan too, didnt have veggie curry last night as we got in a gone 7, so had a pizza from the freezer and some garlic bread.
Will also enter some comps today and finish reading the thread on matched betting, there is no way im going to be able to start this soon but i can at least start reading up on it. I printed the thread at work and part one is over 50 pages :rotfl:0
