  • Just back from Drs I have got an infection, antibiotics and I have to go back in the morning to make sure that all is ok,
He said lots of rest and try to keep hydrated as much as possible, any further pain then I have to call them again.

Now eating chips from the chippy and watching casualty then I will go to bed after that with shopaholic books and chill out.

    Night all xxx

Congratulations Snowyowl - good luck with the job. It doesn't harm to keep your options open with the other interview!

Loopylinz, hope you got some medical attention as it does sound like you've got an infection

    Hi Snowy

Yes I did indeed, ended up in the out of hours doctors. He said I have a very bad chest infection, made worse by the meds I am already on. Felt quite bad for calling and wasting his time with something as silly as this but he said it was the right thing to do. As my meds lower your immune system he said I would be more suseptable to things like pheunomia from a simple infection

Have done nothing at all today. Just managed to eat some ice cream and am going to bed soon. All this doing nothing has made me very sleepy! Lol

Big CONGRATS on the job and nothing wrong with keeping your options open!
Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

Snowy congratulations on the job! I was offered my current job on a Friday 13th too - I've been there 8 and a half years now so it was bad luck for them alright! :rotfl:

Katie & Linz glad you've both managed to see a doctor. Hopefully you'll both feel much more like yourselves in the morning.

Loads done here today including finishing the weeks Flylady tasks. This is the first week I've managed to get right through the list so I was pleased with that. We've got friends here for lunch tomorrow - I've got a big pot of tagine on the go in the SC now and I'm going to make flatbreads to go with it tomorrow morning. We'll serve it up with couscous. Pudding will be apple & blackberry crumble - I prepared the fruit for that earlier on. I also want to do some baking in the morning but not sure what yet. We know our friends like Twinks though as we took some over there when we went a couple of weeks ago so might make a batch of those.

    Hello everyone

Bargainbird - ha ha, that was so funny:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Loopylinz, hope you got some medical attention as it does sound like you've got an infection.

I've some bad news....I can't stay at home every day any more:rolleyes: Yes, that means I've been offered a job:D I actually got the call yesterday (Friday the 13th!) though I am still waiting for the paperwork. That should arrive on Wednesday as they missed Friday's post so it'll go on Monday and Tuesday is StPatrick's Day therefore there will be no mail then. So he ho, off to wo*k I go on Tuesday 24th March. Sssh don't tell them but I've got an interview on Monday 23rd March.... I'm not pushing my luck honestly - the job I've been offered is a contract until the end of the year, while the interview on the 23rd is a permanent contract with a bit more pay though further to travel.

    So that's my news.

Churchie - hope you are alright. You mentioned a few days ago that you were feeling a bit under the weather.

AussieLass - where have you been hiding? Hope you're managing a smile even though DGS and DS aren't with you at the moment.

    Bye for now.

    Snowy

Bless you Snowy for remembering :D I've been pretty poorly, but brave little soul that I am, I'm now through it:T:D That's great news about the job, well done you :j:j Still good to keep your options open. So very good luck for the other interview;)

Aussie's not hiding from us, just 40 odd kilo of sweet potatoes:rotfl: And her DH will grow even more:D:D

Wonder how stef's [STRIKE]dirty[/STRIKE] grown-up weekend is going? Hope it's living up to expectations;)

Did a bit of gardening today, the only OS, so I'll shut up:D
