Morning everyone
bright and sunny here this morning. Have been sitting up in bed for the last hour with a furball on my lap who is refusing to move so typing this with the laptop propped to one side on a pillow and with my left hand.
Lots of washing to do today and decided to line dry for the first time this year. Sadly though, I have full day of writing ahead so no gardening allowed. Must put head down and type madly. That's if I can get the cat off my lap.
Hubby has leftover chinese for dinner and I will have some soup or a jacket potato. Located slippers under blanket on cat bed. Obviously furball 3 decided knitted wool slippers were comfy so dragged them into his smelly dirty nest (he is an ex-ferral).
Have a great day everyone, ((((hugs)))) to all who need one and speak to you all later."carpe that diem"0 -
Morning all!
Not sure what I've been up to lately, but seem to have been busy! Missed posting properly here and keeping up with everyone though, so hugs and congrats where appropriate.
Off taking the girls to explore Cabot Circus - the new shopping bit in Bristol, still not been there since it opened! Hoping to find some bargains as dd1 and ds both need new clothes, ouch!
Put bm and wm on and that's about it this morn so far! Done huge cooked brekkie as kids had friends staying last night, does that count as OS?!
Have a good day all, will pop in later with a glass of wine for a catch up! xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Good morning everyone! You really are an inspirational bunch, i have to say!
Sat up with OH last night to watch Comic Relief - I cant even begin to tell you how upset i got, watching some of those clips from Africa - felt i could do nothing else but call to donate. Means that i may have to be slightly more OS this week, but worth it:j
Sun appears to be fighting a losing battle with clouds today but we live in hope!
OH is still in bed  - he is giving up smoking at the moment and is finding things particularly difficult this morning - so is trying to fight it off by sleeping! I'll leave him for another half hour me thinks.
Today will be general housework and baking - going to try twinks hobnobs for the first time so ill let you all know how it goes!
((HUGS)) to everyone who needs them today x0 -
Hi gang:hello:
Thanks for all the advice on SPD, as we are quite worried for DD:eek:
It's bright and windy here today so the washing's going on the line, and i'm doing potato and leek soup later.:D
Not up to much as DD is tired and in pain, and the vindaloo she ate last night didn't work so she's sulking today:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Hi all
Nothing to report here - just the usual saturday things but wanted to come on to support Candygirl's DD. DIL had this with DGD2, no problems with DGD1 though. She suffered quite badly also, but as others have said it does go once the little 'un is born. Hope she doesn't have to wait too long until she gets some relief.
Off to watch the footie on the tele, they are just coming out of their dressing rooms so have a good day all. Tatty bye0 -
Afternoon All
Well havent posted much this last week. What a week!
Had my visit from the DLA doctor on Thursday, went really well............well as well as these things can go! Have had a stinking cold all week which at 4am I decided might infact have turned into a chest infection! My chest is burning everytime I cough and I feel well and truely miserable! Currently trying to decide if it would be ok to call the out of hours doctor to go collect a prescription or if I should just hang on and try to get an appointment on monday or tuesday.
Anyway...............managed to clean/tidy the house throughout the course of the week so it is looking much better and I actually feel a bit better. Nicer to sit here in relative tidyness as opposed to chaos!
Not too sure what will be for dinner tonight as I seem to be surviving solely on sukie ice lolly pops at the minute!
Hope you are all having a nice weekend
Linz xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -

p.s. nic1lou2 - just wanted to send you a big big hug honey and to say you can vent as much as you like on here hon, we are all here for you and feel free to p.m. me if you would like to.To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -
Hi all:j
Not that much to report here.......just been planting some seeds to prepare for the big plant out this spring...now have tomatoes, peppers, courgettes and chillies on the go, plus some salad leaves...am hoping if I sow these every couple of weeks or so I will manage without buying salad leaves at all during summer:D
DS at his dads till tomorrow morning, he has his disabled swimming lesson today and his dad agred to take him:eek: , I hope it went ok:rolleyes: .
OH and I have just been to shopping centre and picked up a few bits in Poundland, we are having egg and chips tonight(OH making)and am going to watch that Comic Relief dance thing, then we are going to have some HM popcorn and watch a DVD from Lovefilm.....The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
RedRuby, thank you for saying I am a lovely mummy, was just looking at your post about you and OH going for walks with a flask and sandwiches and I quite fancy that, may have a look for a book of walks around here...will have to convince OH though lol .
Candygirl hugs to your DD. I had severe SPD wih DS, I started with a support on halfway through pregnancy and was on crutches by 30 weeks, my abdo muscles also separated( he was 11lb so I think that was something to do with it). Like most people have said it usually goes away after the birth....I still had pain for a while after and ended up having physio for a while to sort it.
Hope everyone has a great day!!
Hugs to all in need0
