    has this been withdrawn?

Looks like there's now a 3.95% product in its place - still 5yr fixed but different terms

Yeah replaced now with 3.95% and by the looks of it there are fees aswell, so this deal is on par with abbey. Glad I appled to a&l when I did now although I didn't expect a&l to withdraw it so quickly perhaps they jumped the gun with the low rate and fee free compared to the likes of abbey with a low rate but quite high fees.

They processed mine on the phone there and then. Took about 1 hour 10 mins on the phone, and that included setting up a current account. I was credit checked over the phone, paid the valuation fee, and subject to a suitable valuation result, I believe the funds are mine! (The small print does mention something about additional credit checks being necessary in certain circumstances...)

    Basically, it's pretty quick!

!!!!!! missed it - I was told to phone back on the 31st as my deal is up on the 30th June - We are currently with the A&L on 5.49 % fixed for 5 years.

We do have a low LTV - about 40 %, so not sure if they will have anything else on offer for us - We revert to SVR at end of fixed, but would rather get on another fixed rate .

Applied last Wednesday for the 3.99 deal and have been waiting nervously since then as it was passed to their underwriters. Hopefully will hear today.

Our LTV is approx 45% and my credit score is perfect (980 out of 1000 with experian) Just wondering why I've been referred.... Anyone else have this?

Recived the key facts document and had a call from the security department today who are happy.
