I hope he gets the book thrown at him. (and that the book is lead lined for that matter.)

Monday an email is going to Rossendales, my local councillor and the head of revenues complaining about this mans underhand tactics.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Equita tried a similar tactic with me, in that I could only have the breakdown of the charges after I had paid them! They got told where to go!

However I'm sure there are hundreds of people who pay up after being intimidated.

well....no more bailiff visits today. i emailed the following to the bailiff company, the head of revs and my local councillor on saturday...no response as yet.....

    Dear sir or madam
I can now confirm the sum of £2xx.xx ( ref: XXXXXXX) has now been paid by internet banking, due to the events detailed below.

I will pay the balance of 4XXXXX by the end of may. (two payments over 2 months via internet banking).

Your bailiff Mr XXXXXXXX did attend today, but refused to give me a breakdown of his charges until he had the money in full (which i had, but would not give until I had seen a breakdown). he arrived in a black 4x4, not a van. also the charges suddenly changed from £200, to £170??

There was an incident, he was aggressive and intimidating towards my partner, who then had to restrain him.
The police were called and because we had a witness to the event and to Mr xxxxxxx behaviour, they were satisfied with our explanation of what happened.

I will not enter into any further conversation with any bailiff. He was unprofessional, intimidating and refused to let me see a breakdown. If he comes back i will complain to the courts and i will report your company to the OFT for employing such a person. Please note I have copied in, my local councillor, MrXXXXXXX and the head of revenues at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx council.

    Regards

Hi all. I have still not had any response to my letter of complaint and its been a week now. my OH has had painful ribs since last weeks fracas so we had to go to hospital, turns out he's either torn a muscle or cracked a rib. i wish i could get my hands on that bailiff.....:mad::mad:

i've also had another breakdown and the £42 for the two visits were included in what they're saying I owed them, so it's looking like this bloke was trying to stitch me up, as no previous levy had been made.

i know hurts when he sneezes or coughs. the doc said they don't xray ribs anymore so he just needs to dose up on painkillers.

I have had many a broken rib, one side of my ribcage is very visible as it's full of mended breaks.

arnica cream (you can get this from Boots at Fezzy) ;) is good or for a cheaper but smellier version, get a bottle of witch hazel and use it poured over flannels, warmed slightly and applied as a compress to the sore area. Lavender oil drops in the bath may also help too. x
