That is NOT a breakdown of fees

E-mail then again and demand that they break down the bailiffs fees.

he is only allowed to charge for two visits.

Will try and find the details.

    Herbie

for this ref and the other that are current they have not levied on goods nor have signed a walk in posession order.

But i had a previous ctx debt with rossendales that i did sign a walk in possesion order form but i paid that off in full. does this have anything to do with my current debts???
at the time they made me list goods (i sat in their car outside) though i know different now than to list goods!!

This is Herbie's advice to a recent Op in a similar situation
hey have not levied on goods so the maximum fees can be just £24.50 if they have visited once and £42.50 if two visits have been made.

the breakdown of payments came from my councillor

I'v emailed them constantly RAS, all i got was a reply today 'although we acknowledge your efforts to pay off this debt, you have gone outside the agreement, you now have to deal with the bailiff''

    what a swizz.

i got a breakdown of my payments

    Council tax: 889.25
    plus recovert costs: 70.00
    Total =£ 959,25
less payments made via rossendales : -724.50

    bal o/s: 234.75 - agreed

WHERE THE HELL DOES THE EXTRA £200 he's trying to charge me come from???

So the maximum he can charge you is £234.75

Send an e-mail to the councillor and the head of revenues

Thank you for you e-mail dated 18.03. 2009. I fully agree that the amount outstanding is £234.25.

My concern is that on 16.03.2009, Mr (bailiff's name) advised me that I was required to pay £434.25 to settle this account and he wanted it all by Friday March 23.

Please can you confirm that if I pay Mr (bailiif's name) £234.25, the debt will be settled?

    Yours dotstar.

i would suggest you cc this email to the rossendales.

    hi

Whatever you do, he is not coming in the house, but you do have to give him as much as you can.

well the bailiff didnt get any money. he stood over me, said he wanted the cash first, then he'd give me the breakdown and if i wanted to dispute it i could take it up with the council. he then said the charges were £170 (what happened to £200).

my partner stepped in at this point said he was trying to con us, the bailiff took his glasses off squared up to my partner, so my partner threw him to the ground & retrained him. my neighbour was outside just back from a walk

the police came, spoke to me and my partner, and neighbour.3 persons word against one. they went away satisfied that the bailiff was throwing his weight around.

i'm paying the £234 today by net banking

can i just say how much i love my partner. x
