The title says it all .

Cant be doing with this low carb & high fat malarkey any more. It's not working & it's costing me too much as not compatible with DD.

As of tomorrow it's just normal food but less of it & back to low fat products for the next grocery shop.

Today was a NSD as I managed not to buy any of the dresses I liked on ebay :A.

I've done plenty of work today, & did a load of washing which dried in the fresh & free air ;). DD & I have now valiantly munched our way through all the remaining chocolate & are now both sick of it . Needless to say there has been no bike riding & the only exercise was walking to the post box about 10 minutes away :o I'm looking to find a healthy eating plan for the rest of my life rather than a quick fix so will include all the different food groups, just need to moderate some far more than others.

Due to have a session at the allotment tomorrow so hoping that the fresh air, sunshine & thought of all those free veggies will keep me motivated to eat healthily ...

Sounds like you had a great Easter. How was the mighty Numpty when you saw him? I had arranged with Wol to ring her on the Wednesday to chat with her and to Numpty too - that man is so funny:D

You need to get yourself over to the freebies board a bit more often young lady, I managed to blag myself a free copy of The English Garden magazine (normally too expensive for me to buy) and a copy of The Lady magazine (now I think I get 3 free copies of this mag). Now I really like The Lady for all the adverts in the back - e.g. nanny required to move to Australia, housekeeper required for huge country mansion owned by millionaire arab etc. etc. Not that I would ever apply for thse jobs, I hasten to add. There was one that made me smile - a rather rich old lady was looking for a carer who must have a good standard of spoken English. Oh such is the life reading this free magazine.

My mum has been very MSE and asked me to view plants in the greenhouse but to get there I had to walk over a huge expanse of lawn in high heels, on the way I had to look at various borders too and then I twigged she wanted me to aerate the lawn for her:rotfl:

Well, I had best get a shift on, my assignments won't write themselves:rolleyes:

    Evening all,

Horace, you are so right, I really do need to grab more freebies, I remember The Lady from my posh school days, the 6th formers used it to find chalet girl / au pair type holiday jobs ... & probably then married wealthy landowners, I of course, was far too busy rebelling & going to the pub, that hasnt really paid off now has it

Anyway, I have been researching working from home type jobs today & very nearly signed up to do freelance writing for a mere 2 dollars & 95 cents then realised that there was a monthly fee of 49 dollars

I spent a lovely couple of hours at the allotment this morning, trying to disentangle the strawberry plants form the couch grass & got a lovely hug form the chap on the plot next door. Calm down ladies, he's retired & has a hearing aid ;). Lovely man I thought until he commented on how voluptous I was looking :o ( old man speak for fat me thinks )

Bought DD a sausage roll for £ 1 on the way home, then popped in to the library & got 3 new books to keep me company & bought 2 other s for 10p each - love that library :D.

This evening I managed to cut the grass again & pot up the strawberry plants that I scavenged from the allotment for my sister. Now all I have to do is keep them alive until I next see her

Food wise I have been rubbish, was doing fine until a friend came round armed with a pizza & jam tarts. DD is out all day tomorrow so it should be easier as will it when she goes back to school  I havent actually bought any shopping this week so am very proud of myself as usually I scurry off to the shops as soon as we run out of somthing & then I end up buying loads of other stuff too. I want to get that monthly grocery shop down to £120 for April.

    bye for now

Aaah but men like voluptuous - better that that look like a bit of string with knots in:eek: Voluptuous is sexy and isnt fat (well, that's what I tell myself) - it means that you have curves in the right places:j

Numpty - Aww thank you kind sir :j, although it must be said that you have spent the best part of the week chatting up guinea pigs :rotfl:

Moo - my sympathies on the projectile stuff - I do hope you've banned the dears from the freshly decorated rooms until they desist from such unsavoury activities ;) Edit : I've just caught up with your thread & realised it's not your place that's being decorated, I did think that 2 ceilings in one day was going a bit over the top ;)

Horace - I like my curves, I just wish that they would fit into my curve holders rather than oozing out the sides :o

Never mind : Dietage is on :D & I am going to do a bit of dyeing of clothes today too, wont burn many calories but will be experimental & fun & make me feel as though I have new stuff to play with

It's not a good sign when one has to play psychological games with oneself :rotfl:

    back later ...

    Quickie update :

spent £5.20 on the clothes dye & I now have a fabby new skirt in a colour that I love & will wear :D

I havent bought any groceries for ages & there is hardly any food in the home which is great for the diet but means that I will have to brave the hordes at tatco tomorrow. Every bit of me wants to waft around waitrose but have been doing some thinking & realise that what with sewing machines & a few other undeclared spends I have frittered away over £100 this month that could have been paid off the debt  This needs to stop immediately.

Have been scouring the Barstycard website & looks like there is a potential 0% deal I could go for inspite of already having a card. I'm thinking I could transfer the Cap One debt to that & increase effort to clear CC1 while CC2 lies fairly dormant for a year then when CC! all cleared I will still have a card with a much lower interest rate than CC1 now .... , me too so will ponder over the week end, spend some quality time with my calculator, get my spiel all word perfect & then launch myself on the unsuspecting Barstycard on monday

Obviously if I am to achieve this then I must curtail all unnecessary spending & redefine 'necessary' too :o.

diet wise I've been good :A

so so tired & havent worked out what to put in the funds yet so heading for bed now

    G'nite
