((((SunnyGirl)))) I’ve only just logged onto the forum; I hope Penny’s journey was a peaceful one. I’m sure Max will need extra cuddles. Such a sad time, but while she lives on in your heart, she's not truly gone from you.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hello everyone and hugs to all in need and especially Sunnygirl....

I am feeling mysefl very fed up at the moment. It's little things really - like I work from home on the PC and OH went on it all morning "paying bills" which he really could have done any time so that's morning's earning done for. I was typing until past 10 last night as well to try and make up earlier shortfall, I got my Ultravox remasters which I treated myself to (big fan and going to see them on tour) and got asked "how much was that?"... two of the people I worked with the on fanzine are thanked in the album notes because they've carried it on and it's just made me think that that could've been me with a bit of support from some quarter. I'm 44, no children and don't actually think any of the medics who have dealt with my IVF issues really care, the house is a tip, I feel as though I have to do everything and don't feel connected to anyone. I'm fed up of always being the one who makes the effort for others and would just like somebody to look after me for a change. I constantly feel as though I'm doing half-a-dozen things at once and under a lot of pressure. When I speak to my GP her answer is antidepressants which are not a good idea with some brain medication I have to take. I realise I probably sound very negative today but am really fed up. I just seem to get criticism and no help. I am obviously having a bad day .....:rotfl:
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Rage in Eden - you do brilliant things, hugs. Hope you feel better soon.

Steel - there may be something in the viral thingy, I had the lurgy last week, so it may be that. I was hospitalised with glandular fever, but can't remember. I'm actually so tired I am struggling to type. Little bear was put safely upstairs, but disconnected the monitor (again). I tried to nap in his room with him, but he hit me (gently) with his teddy every time I closed my eyes - it's a game he and dear heart play, how sweet  So now he is supposed to be eating some lunch and I plan to try and nap on the sofa. He needs a nap almost as much as me, but I have no idea how to convince him...

But I have done some washing, and some of it is finally on the line now that the weather is possible and the building work has stopped.

    Hugs to all.

Rage in Eden (((hugs))) - I think we all know just how you feel at times when we are taken for granted(ask Tru:D )

Sunnygirl - hope things went ok for you this morning (((hugs)))

DH and I have backed 4 horses this afternoon(£20 each in total) at Cheltenham. First one has won us £30 quid each:j :j :j
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • :o LOL I dont know about a medal.......I just have a very different life to many people but have adjusted to it over time:cool: , sometimes the restrictions get to me, eg we can`t really have people to our home without a big fuss and visiting anywhere is a problem, can be quite isolating at times. Am going to an Autism support meeting next week and they are on every month so hopefully may meet similar others:D

The sleep thing has happened for what seems like forever, as a baby he never slept more than an hour at a time night or day:eek:
The getting up at 3 or 4 am thing has been going on for a year or two now.
I just try to see it as getting up earlier than most and going to bed earlier too, like you would for the shifts of a job for example.
I still wouldnt change him for the world:p

    Afternoon!

Woke up this morning feeling like I've swallowed a razor  not good!! I get this thing where the soft palate at the back of my mouth gets all inflamed and itchy as hell - TMI??

I also now have a lump in my throat due to Sunnygirl's post - I'm so sorry about your dog

Plans for today - get stocked up on medicine, go to rehearsals and head back to bed - the play opens on Friday so I'm not taking any chances.

(((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) to anybody in need of one
