Hiya All,
YASSS IT'S FRIDAY!WOOHOO!
Woke up very tired today, just wanted to curl up beside OH when the alarm went off:D Ah well, Ruthieb, I am kinda like you, some days I have loads to do, others I spend all day on MSE:money: Worst thing is knowing that I could be doing plenty at home instead of sitting here but at least I get paid for this:rolleyes:
SunnyDay, Congrats to you, I bet you are chuffed!
Sunnygirl, big hugs, it's totally devastating to let pets go but it is often for the best.
OS for me is MEGA CLEAROUT FRIDAY!! Going through all my clothes tonight and packing up the last of the bags for the charity shop. Listing on eBay as well even if it is just for a couple of ££s. Lunch is sandwich and tea is curry with a couple of Magners;)
Looking forward to the rugby tomorrow as well as going out tomorrow night. One of my friends is having an Ann Summers Party:p Crikey!
Hope everyone has good day, talk later.
p.s Still reeling from the excellent service at the bank yesterday!:rotfl:Spreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0 -

OH is calling the Solicitor today to get an explanation of it!

Happy Friday everyone -13 is my lucky number and it's a Friday too so I feel doubly lucky today.
Sunnygirl - So sorry to hear about Penny. Thinking of you.....
Sunnyday - glad you got some sleep and are feeling better
Tru - Master tru sounds like a real keeper! what a sweetie!
Sybil - Take care of yourself. You don't have to nap, sometimes just being still and closing your eyes helps. Have you ever had glandular fever or chronic fatigue? I had glandular fever a few years ago and I only realised something was wrong when I fell asleep at odd times; mid morning in the garden, on the bus to town at lunchtime, eating my dinner, ironing etc. Just could not keep my eyes open. It was a different sort of tiredness from usual is the only way I can describe it.

On third cup of tea and contemplating the day ahead.
Work for clients to do for a few hours and then the hedgehogs have to be moved into the conservatory when hubby comes home. Big post office run with all my ebay parcels this afternoon. Royal mail managed to smash a beautiful little old china dressing table tray I sold even though it was very well wrapped and had fragile written all over it. Refunded the buyer and now I must claim the money back.
Just ordered a free Eaga ShowerSmart attachment for the shower that will apparently save me £20 in gas over 12 months and help reduce my water consumption.
No cooking tonight....BIL's birthday so going over to hubby's parents for a celebration Chinese. Hurrah!!!"carpe that diem"0 -
Morning all!
Sunnygirl - (((hugs))) to you all, I really feel for you - we had to do this with our little chap last year and its heartbreaking, I'll be thinking of you today x

planning an afternoon in front of the telly watching the racing today with DH.

take care all and (((hugs))) to anyone else who needs one xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Thank you all for your kind, loving words & thoughts and the pm's you really are helping :A :A :A The dreaded time is nearly here I've spent my time so far keeping busy dusting, cleaning the windows, sorting the washing out - anything to keep me busy. We're going to my parents afterwards they're upset too as Penny has always been included in family holidays, trips out etc. She is a very good age, as Sybil said, I've been so lucky to get her to it. I'm smiling about all the things she's done too - chewing one of my DS2's boots on Christmas Eve when he was 2 right down to the sole but leaving the other one intact, spending 3 nights eating a kitchen carpet & pulling the fridge over in her efforts, eating through a 4 pack box of nappies that were stockpiled for when DS3 was born
to mention a few. Plus my DD went through a lot of Barbies as Penny had a thing about eating the legs & feet off them, apart from the Power Ranger dolls that had their arms & heads eaten. I still remember trying to persuade my DD, then 4yrs old, that some people didn't have arms & that her Power Ranger was extra special because of it - it didn't work :rotfl:
((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs back to you all))))))))))))))))))))))))))) and huge thanks again.

Sunnygirl - hugs and hugs
Little bear is grumpy. I was trying to work out how to best use some flash cards, and little bear was really cross because I wouldn't let him play with them. I may study them again while he is there - forbidden fruit is far more interesting and then when I try and do them with him he is more likely to co-operate I hope.
Well, for various reasons, the freezer is empty with only a little bit of home made stuff in. I remember seeing somewhere some welsh meat service where they did bulk deliveries - can anyone remember it or recommend something similar? I think having half a cow in the freezer will be good for me, as I won't be able to fit in so much junk.
Then it is going to be desperately tight budgets for a while to try and get back on an even keel.
Hugs to all.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Good morning everyone and big (((hugs))) to Sunnygirl and to everyone who is down or not feeling well at the moment.
Today is my once a fortnight day off - have already been down to ASDA and to M&S to get some of the things that were not on the shelves when we did our weekly shop on Tuesday night.
I've got the slow cooker on with pea and ham soup in the making. Dried peas were soaked overnight and the stock is from the gammon I cooked in the slow cooker earlier in the week.
I've got the crusts of the HM bread broken up and drying in the dehydrator. I'm going to crush these down and mix them with some herbs and spices to make my own chicken coating. Note to self - I need to hunt out a recipe for this.
Dinner tonight will be sausages and HM savoury rice done in the remoska - probably with some grilled tomatoes. Dessert is jelly, some tinned fruit and some left over custard. I'm in a childhood types of food kind of mood today
Have a lovely OS day everyoneEnjoying an MSE OS life0
