I hope the meeting goes ok Debbie, it's not unusual for these meeting to be recorded so that they can be recorded accurately.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I have read the whole thread but I'm still confused. What are they alleging you did wrong? Something to do with cancelling calls? Are they saying that you cancelled attendances on the elderly when you shouldn't have done?

Hi all, just to let you know had a meeting with manager about calls, i gave my reasons and also put in a grieviance about the way ive been treated, manager said i hadnt been suspended, although coordinator told me twice last 1 being on monday, but apparently has denied saying it?? Also when i recieved my wage slip it says suspension pay, i mentioned this to manager an he is saying he had to put something on there, thats why it says suspension....also handed a 7 page letter regarding suspension and grieviances, will have to wait now for outcome, i have mentioned i feel ive been victimised, as som1 else is doing my job now and i know they wanted her in the office:( Have got copy of minutes handwritten and im now awaiting a printed version too

i did fone my manager up to find out wat was going on and he verified it

So is he now denying this conversation?

Sorry but it all seems jumbled up and I can't get to grips with what happened. I would have gone in to work as normal from the off, not go on some gossip from a colleague. That's where it all went awry.

However, there's a wealth of great advice on here so do ensure that you are fully informed as to correct procedures. It sounds, from what you've said, that the company doesn't follow correct procedures. You've not had proper holiday entitlement? Sorry, I'm confoozed!

hi, no we only get 8% of what we earn towards holiday pay, so if we havnt earned enough for 2 weeks off we dont get paid it, it is very confusing, i was told on march 10th on way home i was suspended, asked why an he said to fone manager up, which i did an he didnt deny i wasnt suspended....tried foning head office 6 times to find out about suspension and no one got back to me, only after 8 days did my manager say i hadnt been suspended but that i couldnt go in office, but could go out and do calls which i did have the weekend, but they had been taken off my? my manager said he wasnt aware i had any calls? the coordinator had told me i was suspended...i even asked last monday why he had suspended me an his reply was cos manager told him to......but manager is now say coordinator is denying saying this to me??

I'm really sorry debbie but I can't understand who said what. Earlier you said when you called the manager he verified you had been suspended but now you say he 'didn't deny you were suspended'.

Would love to help but struggling!

ok here is what happened on tues 10th march i had to go on a long journey to do with work, with the care coordinator being as i dont drive, we spent 13 hrs out, from 7am til 8pm, when he dropped me home, just said i have some bad new for you, your suspended?....as soon as i got in the house i foned manager up asking why i have been suspended an he mentioned about cancelled calls.....then recieved nothing confirming it, i phoned head office up 6 times to find out wat was happening an they said they will pass it on to the appopriate people....got fone call 8 days later saying i havnt been suspended.....but i had wage slip saying im getting suspension pay too
