 That's a workaround, not a fix :rotfl:
I'm not buying anything, I find out on Monday if I still have a job even My TV is broken! My TV is broken!

Do you have Realtek 'Sound Manager' or 'Sound Effect Manager' either as an icon your tray or in your programs menu?
If so it may need setting up to detect your mp3 player on the line in socket.
See instructions here (edit - Scroll to page 11 - section 8 "Connector Sensing" Page)
I don't think the speaker option would work anyway as the problem is the line in signal being detected then passed through to the speakers.0

            It's Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Will look at your link.My TV is broken!

I was very optimistic when I looked at that last one... but my panel doesn't have those sliders - it looks like this:

Are you using the iPod headphone/line out socket ?
If so I recall somewhere that they are not wired up as per the normal standard.
The red/white and yellow outputs on that socket are wired up differently.
To get mine to output video and sound to my TV I had to get a special iPod configured lead.0

Sounds typical Apple :rotfl: yes, I'm using the headphone socket. :rotfl: yes, I'm using the headphone socket.
I was gutted when they started making ipod remotes that only fit the headphone jack, because design of the (very expensive) earphones I have (bought in the Apple store) mean that they constantly lose connection and are unusable unless you're not moving around :rotfl:
Oh and said earphones don't fit iPhones either  so I have to carry around plenty of kit...My TV is broken!
