    Ah thanks :)

Well my manager said write him a letter once the docs confirm it officially for me :)

What should i write in the letter do you think?

And also do the doctors to a pregnancy test when you go to prove it? lol.
Some people have said they dont test you, but they cant just take your word for it can they? lol

    xx

Some do, most take your word for it :) Mine never tested me at ALL - took my word for being pregnant and just worked out my due date from the first day of my last period... That's it...
The first real "evidence" will be your 12 week scan...

Once your GP have told you the estimated due date then I'd write a letter to your employer. Just state that "as discussed on the x date I am writing to inform you that I am pregnant and the initial estimated due date calculated by my GP is the X. Should this date be changed when the dating scan is done I will of course update you immediately.

Thank you for your kind support so far and your well wishes in very exciting time for me/us"

    something like that :)

    Ooh thanks :)

I might write a template letter at home so i can just edit quickly, print and give it to him :)

Your doc took your word? I can imagine someone pretending they are lol.
At what point do i get the free dentist care? lol! I need to go to the dentists and i dont think £16.20 justifys her poking my mouth and making me bleed lol.

My Dr made me do a wee test first...

I already had a dentist appointment booked when I found out I was pregnant, I just told them when I got there and they wrote it on my notes, didn't ask for any proof or anything...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

If he does do a test, i hope its positive lol. I can just imagine him saying 'you've been imagining it' lol.
It just seems unreal at the moment, i wasn't expecting it at all :D

    Well done Angel Fairy!!!!

I've just got back from my "booking in appointment". I had to wait for 45 minutes after my appointment was due to start, even though it was the first one of the afternoon session, and as I suspected as soon as I told the midwife that I wasn't having my antenatal care or birth on the NHS she sent me on my way, without a single question about my health or so much as a bp check! To be fair she wasn't unpleasant about it, and (unlike other's experiences here) she did congratulate me on the pregnancy and wish me well with it. Still a huge waste of time for her and me though!

hello ladies, just a quickie to let you know baby Jack 7lbs 9oz arrived safe and well fri morning.:j
the pregnancy was watched closly due to hbp and he was induced eventually just 5 days early, i think by that time my body had just had enough of being pregnant. we are over the moon as he is gorgeous and everything we could of hoped and wished for.
i managed the birth with just gas n air and boy did that hurt! i ended up with stitches as i tore but would do it all again tomorrow for the end result as it took us over 5 years to conceive.
i have been silently keeping tabs on everyone over the months and have read every page up till last wednesday when i got admitted to hospital, im not sure i have the time energy or willpower to catch up from page 78 :rotfl: so well done and congrats to all those who have given birth and good luck to those of you due soon. angchris XXX

Had some lunch then went back to bed. DH should be home soon, so I will wait on him then go and get the kids for a big group hug. Watching Ray Mears and the women of the Kalahari bush, these women walk along whith the kids in huge slings BFing as and when needed and spend all day looking for food, makes you feel spoiled! No icecream for those ladies! Oh and I skipped biology too.

Talking of icecream, my local poundshop has the lollie moulds in, think I will get some.
