Don't know if this has been mentioned before; but have you seen this site?

    http://www.biglittletrading.co.uk/shop.asp?Section=MaternityTops

They buy and sell babies and maternity clothes. If you look at the criteria they have for selling your stuff - it looks like they only take really good quality in perfect condition.

Theres some nice maternity stuff on there - useful me finding it now I don't need it!

Just had to tell my manager im pregnant even though i found out yesterday, we all had a meeting and they are cutting our campaign and we have the option of going to another 3 campaigns.

I had to tell him so i could request the customer services role as its normal hours, not lates.

It went well though, he said he wants me on his team.

Do i still need to write a letter informaing them im pregnant and due date etc?

    xx

    glad it went well!

I think it is 25 weeks when you have to notify them formally, your MW will give you a MatB1 form.

You get it at about 24 weeks!!

Don't be surprised if none of the health professionals find your pregnancy very exciting! My doc didn't even check to see if I was pregnant. In fact no-one laid a hand on me until about 26 weeks (they don't actually 'touch' you at your scans either!!).

...actually, my MW may have touched me at about 16 weeks to hear the heartbeat, but def not before that.

    Afternoon ladies!

Was woken at 11pm and 8am for medication, and 2am, 6am and 10am for BP so a bit of a broken nights sleep!

BP fine so far, they want me to stay till 5pm. If its okay then, can go home! Will be back at day assessment on Sat and Tues, then MW on Thurs.

Meds make me so drowsy can sleep through SPD pain.

Bored, but it isn't as bad as thought itd be.

Baby isnt engaged yet and theyve booked me another consultant appointment for 38+2 so desnt look like hell be early.

    Hugs to all.

(If its cream based its an icecream, if its water based its an icelolly, regardless of sticks!)

  • Glad to hear you are doing well feelie. Those hospital internet thingies are a pain in the a$$ though aren't they - you are doing well to post such a long message - it took me ages to do a few lines when I was in (although I was in labour or had just given birth lol)
