I work for SKY tv in one of their call centres :)
Upgrading peoples boxes, but as there are hardly any calls they have us calling exsiting customers to let them know that their broadband is not active as they didn't provide a MAC code.

Doing it at my own pace, have to spread it out until 7:30pm, and i've been here since 8am :(

    xx

We went for Freesat, after Sky charged us for 18mths even though we had moved out as I couldn't remember the password. Even when I cancelled the DD they took it off my Debit card that I had used for the original payment 2 years earlier. We were well out of contract to.

Haha its not the whole how loyal you are thing, everyone gets a free box when they join so why shouldn't the new customers? lol. Is what we've been told to say, i dont like to know, unless the customers are really rude :P

Also, a quick tip, dont say "fine i'll cancel" to get a free deal, cuz you will get transfered through to cancellations and they only offer deals to 1 in 10 people, so you might end up cancelling and you didn't want to lol.

Sky recently introduced this to stop people getting deals. :D

I'm feeling very upset today. Went to college allready sore from sitting on dining chairs yesterday (my new sofa is the business though) and then had to walk over to our cinema (up hill) to watch a road safety film/demonstration full of school kids. So, sat on the most uncomfotable chair for over an hour and got very upset. It was about a crash that happened around here 2 years ago, not too bad, but they also had one of the policemen, paramedic, fireman and male nurse who attended the scene and treated the casualties (2 of the 5 died). That wasn't what go to me though, the nurse told us about a shift he had 5 years ago.

Don't read if your easily upset.

He was unlucky enough to treat a 4 year old boy who had been sitting on his uncles knee with no seat belt when the car crashed and rolled. He was sent through the sunroof. Little guy made it for 40 mins and then died from 3 critical internal injuries. The next day the mother (who stayed in Aberdeen) came down to see her son and the same nurse had to tell her he had died. He then took her to the mortuary where she sat for 9 hours before asking (as it was March) if she could go and buy him some clothes to keep him warm. He went into detail about how she dressed him along with a scarf and hat and the nurse noticed that both his legs were badly broken and how he had to try and not let her see that as he didn't want her living with that.

So not only am I now in agony with my hip and ligament pain down my right side, but I keep thinking about that little boy and how the father was such a bloody idiot as to let him sit on soemones knee with no seatbelt. Out of the 5 of them in the car, the 4 adults had minor injuries, the motorcyclist that they hit died outright and the child died.

And DH isn't even here to give me a hug.

I agree :D (except its an icelolly :p) but I'll let you off coz ur influenced by the scousers who say lollyice ;)

Do you have the lovely soft scouse accent you find around the wirral? I like that one :D

People who aren't from here think I sound scouse, but scousers think I sound posh and not scouse at all. :rotfl:

    Oh no :( *hugs*

I read this, it made me sad :(

People are idiots! All he had to do was sit him in a booster seat and he would of been fine, maybe with some injuries at the most.
