Morning all.
sami - not a sausage in sight! (except my feet and toes which are big fat hot dogs right now)
forget all these pops, lollys and ices, icecream is the only way to go!
I got all weepy last night because I told OH how tired I am and how i'm just not coping at work. I told him that instead of working until the day before I am due I wanted to take the week before off with my annual leave. If i'm not coping now I dont think I am going to be able to work until the day before. He got a bit cross with me because he said I keep changing my mind. I told him i'd never been pregnant before so how did I know that I would feel like this. I said that the people on my forum (thats you!) were leaving months before their due date and he told me off again by saying I shouldn't do what everyone else does.
I dont think he has a clue how i'm feeling. He thinks by buying me all the ice cream I can eat, plumping the cushions, doing the cleaning and letting me lie on the sofa everything will be okay. He's trying to help in his own special way and I love him for it but I just cant explain to him how hard I am finding work at the moment.
He's also booked us flights for Rome on the day I am 31 weeks pregnant and I really didnt want to fly that late on. More because I will be really uncomfortable on pokey Ryan Air and have to have one of the orange lap belts because I cant fit a normal seat belt anymore! I have to get a note from my MW too to say i'm fit to fly cos Ryan air wont let you fly after 28wks otherwise.
I've started the day with a good old moan to match the rainy weather. It can only get better!
Love to all xxxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Mookie you're a lot braver than me flying that late on - especially on Ryanair... I was very uncomfy flying to Denmark and back and I wasn't even 20 weeks! Make sure you get an aisle seat though and when you go to check in waddle straight to the front when checking in to tell them you're pregnant
Get flight socks and get up every 20 minutes or so to walk round the plane to keep your circulation going.
I'm 32+4 and whilst I am probably fit to fly I wouldn't want to try and squeeze on a ryanair flight although I should be home this weekend for a funeral... there is just no way I can justify risking it (and my back would be killing me!!!)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -

Isn't is exactly our choice to change our minds all the time, especially in our fragile states???
Someone on here mentioned that they had decided to go for a HB and their DH was really unhappy with that choice. I don't want a HB (no way!) but I asked my DH last night out of the blue how he woudl feel if I decided I want a HB - he said 'I would say you are out of the f'ing mind and its not natural' - umm, isn't that exactly the point, it is more natural than in a hospital. Anyway, shows how supportive he would be if I opted for a non-standard route! Men, eh!0 -

Hi everyone, i was searching mse for a forum to do with pregnancy and i found one
Im due 27th Nov 09, found out yesterday after 3 preg tests, and another in the evening just to 'make sure' lol!
Within one day im already feeling nauseous
So hi, and its nice to meet you all
xx0 -
mrstine and elle, thank you for the work stuff, i feel a lot better about it now!
i got some pj bottoms from h+m for 9.99, not from the maternity range but from the normal range, they have a fold up/down waistband and are uber stretchy. absolutely lived in them, when i was in the house i was wearing them, when i wasnt in them they were in the wash! they also had some really long stretchy vest tops in the normal outer clothing range for 3.99, i bought loads in my normal size and they just stretched with me cos they were long, but the awesome thing was that they didnt stretch permanently and everytime they were washed they went back so i can carry on wearing them!
oh, and asda have calypso ice poles, clear flavoured mineral water, a box of 40 for 26p:eek:  bargain!!Mummy to
