I was on the actual labour ward the other night, jesus christ, all i heard was the elephant snoring, 2 women contracting and loads of screaming coming from the labour rooms!
i'd be an elephant snorer and i hate sleeping in unfamiliar places... takes me a few nights to relax... dont thinki'd sleep a wink if i had to stay in overnight before baby comes along'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
feelie - don't feel lonely! We're all here to keep you company!
I'm in my PJ's feeling sorry for myself as bump has been super stretchy today and i am knackered....got to leave home at 7 tomorrow to go go to Bristol, would be ok but we're going in my bosses sporty little car which'll be a nightmare for my back and hips.... fun0 -
Tickle RLT is proven
search on babycentre and it will mention a study done in australia that found it did shorten labour length
I did a massive search/trawl of the internet and found it was cheapest it Jullian graves on offer (£1.09 ber box of 10), if the offer isn't still running then cheapest is holland and barrett - £1.19 per box (those prices are for health and heather brand of tea bags in store only tho)
Went into Holland and Barrett today (had to buy some Bombay Mix!!!)
Raspberry Leaf Tea - £1.19 per box - £3 boxes for £2.50A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Doesn't quite work like that - if you ask for flexi time and it's only saturdays you can't work then they have to consider if it's practical to get a job share in with the relevant experience to cover only that day - and if they can find someone to cover the time at say the same or less salary than you are on - it can get a bit complex
My last company was scared witless of anyone claiming unfair/constructive dismissal because of not allowing flexitime so despite it being detrimental to the company they allowed flexi hours for several employees. The team feeling towards them was NOT nice because everyone else had to suffer as a result so there is more to consider than just "will work let me" when you decide if you want to apply for it...Mummy to

There is a Mamas & Papas but I can't think of anything else that's there. I plan to go in the next few weeks so will let u know.

Pah I'm yet to get a HiPG form - my midwife still hasn't had any so I'm no nearer to getting one grrrr - must remember to chase again when I see her next week. Don't see why getting the forms out to midwives is such a huge problem - I really don't!
Cant remember if I posted this but MW can only order packs of 10 at a time. Its the GP practice which has to order them as they can get packs of 50. When I rang there was a 5 week wait to get them!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
