My aunt left my cousin behind once in his car seat in the living room... But in her defence, she was watching my neice at the time so she strapped 2 children in the car... Just forgot she had 3 for the day... (But she was telling us the other day about how she left her dog tied up outside a shop once then left by a diff door... finished her shopping and went home before she remembered about the dog... some kind of pattern emerging...)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Well hopefully I will have my baby sling, so wont be able to forget baby.... in theory

Raspberry leaf.... anyone find it useful? A lot of the info says that it "reduces the level of pain in labour" and helps "prepare the uterus and the cervix" and such things..... just wondering if its true.

Also has anyone other than Weezl tried the perineal massage? and did it help any?

I am desperately reasearching ways to reduce the stress on my body... especially my bits. I have been religously cocoa buttering (for the last 6 weeks lol) and I only have 6 new stretch marks in total, and none of my old ones have gone red so I am impressed.

I am planning on taking Arnica or using Arnica cream once bubs is here to sooth the brusing of my bits, as it has always very effective on all my bruises, including ones I sustained from a car crash.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Yeah, my mum used to leave me outside shops in my pram all time.

I have no issues about it though... can someone give me a hug? :o

I've never left either of mine, but did I tell you lot about the first time I held DS1?? He was in SCBU and in a wee hospital tank/cot the midwives said go ahead pick him up for a cuddle, so I did.... and banged his head of the corner of his tank as I sat down! Was terrified that they would take him off me because of it! :rotfl: We all have our dittery moments eh?

Tickle RLT is proven ;) search on babycentre and it will mention a study done in australia that found it did shorten labour length
I did a massive search/trawl of the internet and found it was cheapest it Jullian graves on offer (£1.09 ber box of 10), if the offer isn't still running then cheapest is holland and barrett - £1.19 per box (those prices are for health and heather brand of tea bags in store only tho)

Thank you! I am a bit anti tea... infact cant stand tea normal or herbal. So am trying to get the capsules.. Holland and Barret have 30 for £4.99 but thinknatural.com have 120 for £7.32 including postage if I go for the 120, it will be in two pots of 60.. so I could always pass on the other pot and it still be cheaper per tablet......hmmmmm well I will have to wait untill I have been paid anyway.

I did wonder if the capsules would be as good etc as the tea itself? I don't drink tea really so can't see myself slurping cup after cup as we progress... but always a little tentative about taking pills too...

i know some of you may live a bit closer than i do but is there any decent baby shops in cheshire oaks, ones that may sell prams, pushchairs etc..??
have seen a really nice Hauck pram/pushchair combo online but one to try it out first.

Tickle: if you take the tabs in the same frequency/amount as tea you would need around 100 tabs plus I think its also good to carry on taking it after the birth so you would use up the 120 ;)
Tine the study was done with the tablets so they should be fine :)

Full list of all stores is on the website http://www.cheshireoaksdesigneroutlet.com/whatshere.asp
Have you tried a local independent shop tho? I'm a big fan of local indes ;)
if you have trouble finding one search for stockists on a big brand site like silvercross
