what are your opinions on night time nappy changes? i've read in several places today that unless its a poopy nappy its not necessary to change it at night cos its better to not wake them up too much, which would suit us cos seth screams blue murder at every change, but i dunno, worried about nappy rash/soreness if i dont do it every feed? what do you guys do?

I was advised to change them during the night as both mine were early and very sleepy, they would fall asleep before taking enough milk, so a nappy change woke them back up and kept them awake long enough to take a full feed. But I'm pretty sure with most babies you don't have too unless it really needs doing. Modern nappies (cloth also) should cope with an all nighter just fine.

Hmmmm I have everything needed for a lemon tarte... now there is an idea... :)
I do get moments when I don't feel very pregnant at all. Bit achey but not actually pregnant - sitting on the sofa when Roo is asleep I can happily forget I'm up the duff to be honest. But soon as I have to walk anywhere or she moves then there is no doubt in my mind :)

Good news is that DHL just collected the parcel for the item i sold on Ebay over a week ago - they finally paid :yay: so now I COULD go shopping if I wanted to... or I could list more stuff on ebay... hmmmm choices...

Have seen some unedited pics that were taken the other night and they look pretty good! There are some ok ones, some good ish ones and some really stunning ones - going to pick our faves and they will airbrush them a little to hide extra fatfolds and what have you :rotfl: oh and double chins ;) (in some of them because of the angle it looks like I have a triplechin! but thankfully that can be worked on a bit ;) )
Might share some of them on FB when we get the final pics through :)

Tine while ur here.. I don't suppose you know of the top of ur head if there is a part of the pet forum for natural/homeopathic stuff for doggies? don't worry if not I shall get round to searching soon :o I'm not thinking of alternatives to vet stuff just if I can give my old lady doggy some calcium, glucosamine etc for her old bones

Although it could be seen as medical advice... I'm not sure about calcium however you should be fine with glucosamine. Check with your vet first before adding anything to her food supplementwise but they will probably tell you that you can buy it from boots if you so desire ;)
Glucosamine will help eventually but it can take a couple of months before you see any benefit :)

    Thanks hun :)
I noticed that Holland and Barrett sell a bone supplement thing for doggies but it would be cheaper to get "human" ones elsewhere and I didn't spend much time looking coz it was approaching 5 so I wanted to get out of town before rush hour
I'm looking forward to seein ur pics so u best had put them on FB :p I'd love to see a b4 and after airbrush one but not sure you'll want to share:cool:

I'd like to see them Tine... I'm unsure wether to have my freind do some of me pregnant or just wait and have some of the baby... I'm far too fat to look good on photo's now...

FG, I was thinking the same thing as you last night about the more uncomfortable kicks... I honestly thought baby was going to punch right through, really hurt a couple of times too... It's been at it again this morning... Plus I think it had it's head sitting on the cervix because everytime I put my right foot on the floor a pain shot right up there!

Amusingly, last night hubby and I were having a discussion about the blokes who have been denying their poor women their conjugal rights because the baby bump freaks them out... I mentioned the fact it didn't even bother hubby the time it started fidgetting half way through... Well he started getting fruity with me... one hand on my belly... and baby started doing some more really hard kicks... It freaked him out and I didn't get any last night!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

:o:o OH and I went to walk out of MIL's after tea once with Chris all ready to go in his carseat in the lounge - oops!! :o only forgot about him for about 30 secs so not too bad!
Did you hear abut the "couple" who went on Jeremy Kyle for a paternity test and left the baby behind:eek: the mum said "We didn't forget the baby, we forgot we took her"
