AM - something to consider with the castor oil
"Some believe castor oil will also stimulate the bowels of the baby and result in the passing of meconium. There have been trials which say otherwise, and some that tell us that there is no proof that the castor oil even circulates to the baby. So a tricky one – definitely make sure you consult your medical carer on this one and please do your research."
it from the site bellow, looks good to me - lists all the natural ways to induce labour, also says its safe to take EPO orally or up da fooffrom 36wks.

Hello!
I have now been signed off work!!At 31+5 my Hips hurt too much within 2 hours of sitting at work. The sofa seems to be fine as I can put my feet up but work chairs hurt. So my annual leave starts 01/04/09 and my maternity leave starts 20/04/09 and baby is due 22/05/09 although everyone is determined that this baby will arrive early. I dont mind as long as baby arrives when baby is ready.
Also GP let me know that GTT has come back perfect! Yay! haha to my Midwide who said that it was more than likely that I had gestational diabetes... she knows nothing mwahahahaaha! (gloat over I promise)
Sorry to hear your news Becky and good luck for the future.

Quick question, when your baby started getting really big, could you feel the difference with having less fluid around him? My bump feels a lot more lumpy, and when he moves I can feel it a lot more (ouch!). Got appointment this afternoon so will check with them, but I imagine its normal?
I'm not that fussed about the baby coming on time. I'm 36+2 now, and have no plans to eat pineapple, have sex or anything. My Mum did advise me to focus on 42 weeks as the end so I didn't get too fed up, so I'm alright with that. Plus I'm not ready! I've only just got used to being pregnant. I suppose having a 6 month pregnancy has its benefits!
I hope AF comes here soon, I want updates!
In hospital I was lying on my back for a good few hours and my belly looked so weird when he moved, and it can hurt a bit too the little get! :rotfl: I'm also convinced he is back to back :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

According to a study on ‘The length of uncomplicated human gestation’ by the Department of Epidemiology, Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, they found:
“For primiparas (first child), the median duration of gestation from assumed ovulation to delivery was 274 days (41+1 weeks preg), significantly longer than the predicted 266 days. For multiparas (more than one child), the median duration of pregnancy was 269 days (40+3 wks), also significantly longer than the prediction. Moreover, the median length of pregnancy in primiparas proved to be significantly longer than that for multiparas”":rotfl:

I knowthis may make me one of the weirdo's but I do kind of hope wee one is early so I get to meet him/her sooner.
But I would prefer bubs to turn up healthy and be late rather than push things forwards.
Also does anyone have moments where they just dont feel pregnant.... well till bubs moves or SPD kicks in?
