elle i was going to work til 37-38 weeks but i just couldnt handle it im knackered now plus be nice to spend a couple of weeks of just zoe before her brother is born (although im so sure for some reason that hes gonna come early... i dont know why ) x

I admit, I have a very cushy office job, plus will have my maternity cover lady in for the last five weeks I'm there so I'll be kicking about not doing much (or posting on here!) for the last few weeks at least I'm very lucky to be able to get away with it but it's actually my colleague who deals with mat leave's suggestion..

Speaking of early, I asked at lunchtime what made babies come early.. I think it was AM who asked what I meant by early - I was thinking 35-36wks ish. Not worryingly early, just a few weeks quicker than expected

Nothing to do with lucky, if any of you ladies are lucky (or stoopid) enough to have 6 babies, you will one day understand why I am giving up as early as possible. Everything gets more difficult, particularily after no.4. Last time I was soo slow by 35wks. I'm 25wks+ , she's kicking now and I grimace at times as I can feel every bit of her. Also my job involves either standing or very little school chairs, and is extremely intense as I work all day with one child apart from 20 mins at lunch time. My patience is not what it was!!!

I'm only on a contract which finishes next Tuesday so I'm finishing at 24 weeks!

Nicki - I loved your email. It reminded me of the other week when someone at work ate all my Shreddies. I sent this round:

I can see how you might have been confused by the words ‘Emma T’ emblazoned in black biro across the front, mistaking it instead for the motto ‘Free for all, please help yourself’ but as someone due to be unemployed in two week’s time I’m afraid I can’t afford to support your cereal habit as well as my own.

I’d appreciate it if you would keep your paws off my food and buy your own if you’re hungry. Did no-one ever teach you not to stand between a pregnant lady and her breakfast?

The irony is that I’d probably have been happy to give you a bowl had you asked, but it winds me up when people steal my stuff.

Do it again and I’ll send the Big Bad Wolf round to blow your house down.

With the SPD, I don't think I'd have been able to work past 24 weeks. I certainly wouldn't have been able to work past 30 weeks, and I can now (36 weeks) barely manage to do anything but eat, sleep and do a little bit of tidying!

tara i think my limit is 3 but OH wants warriors :rotfl:...
elle i just feel it i mean zoe was never this active and i keep getting very strange twinges down there... know its silly i just think he cant wait to get out... plus OH was early and his family are known for there kids being early x

Searching, with DS last time I used to worry he was gonna kick his way out it was so strong down there. I shot up out of the chair a few times. Little so and so was late as well!

skinty when someone used the last of my butter at work ... i lost it .. i told people all they had to do to was ask but nooooo they had to be greedy so now if someone took my stuff id rip there heads off... and i said it with a lovely smile on my face they didnt know wheather to laugh or move away from me... they havent took my stuff since x
