Nicki, thankyou!! You've just worded that so much better than I've been drafting in my head all afternoon!
One of the guys used to walk passed my office, shouting "Hi you two!". His boss is the last woman on site who was off in mat leave (also my best mate at work) so I emailed her to ask if he'd done it to her too and say how annoying it was. Next time she saw him, she pointed out to him how irritating it was and said that since she's had her baby, she's just "X's Mum" so whilst she was pregnant she quite liked the time she still got to be just "Emma".. that's how I feel!
They're never going to see my baby (chemical manufacturing site so babies not allowed to visit) or me "being a mum" so to them surely I should always be just "Lynsey, the HR Administrator"..
I pointed out to my colleagues later that one of the ladies from Accounts lost two stone in nine months, but noone asked her about her waistline everyday..0 -
Well I'm tired... and annoyed... and annoyed... and tired....
Was up at 3 with Aimee and her raging temperature, couldn't get back off after so just lay there in the dark until she woke up again at 6... Then she got in our bed and cooked me for an hour before we had to get up and go to her paediatrician appointment... Which was annoying in itself... I got there at 8:55 and the nurse was really off with me while she measured and weighed Aimee... Told me the Dr didn't start till 9:30... OK, well why did my letter say the appointment was 9 then? She marched off telling me to 'go through that door and sit on the left' (there were 3 doors there!) then 2 mins later she came back waving the appointment list and being all apologetic that someone had fluffed up and booked 2 of us in before the Dr was due... Then, she tested the precious water sample I'd managed to get out of Aimee right before we left... Then bought the result through to the Dr... He asked her to send it off for further testing as some things had come up positive... She looked all flustered and said it would probably be better to get a fresh sample ... which I take it means she'd gotten rid of the original one(which was 2hrs old, if that!)... Ok... Well I have a small child who pees twice a day... I had to fill her with water then sit there for an hour waiting for it to pass through...
Decided to make a rice pudding with the tiny bit of rice we have left... Then my Mum turned up to get her mothers day stuff and I forgot about it... By the time she left, it was a rice cake... Have poured on some milk and fluffed it with a fork... But it might not be salvagable... Who am I kidding? I'll still eat it... Just might be on my own...
Oh, and while we're moaning about OH's... Mine spent his last £30 today on xbox games and generally nothing... Then was expecting to draw money out of my account to buy food for the special tea he was going to cook me... which is fine... Apart from he drew the last bit of spare money I had out on Saturday to get my mothers day stuff... Bluddy men!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello everyone.
I am back at work now and have been at a spa all weekend. I am not even going to attempt to catch up as the last time I looked there were 80odd pages and now we are on 116! I think I might bow out of posting as I don't feel like I can give this my full attention now I am back at work.
Been fun though. I wish everyone well

Shelvis - even if you can't read everything, make sure you pop in and update us every now and then? A post once in a while is fine, don't feel you have to be 'all or nothing' hereStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
