About thrush - Midwife and nurse told me not to use the pessary, but Consultant prescribed it. Pharmacist took the applicator out, and said you can't use the applicator in pregnancy incase you rupture your waters! I didn't bother with it in the end, pretty sure I don't/didn't have thrush.

I'm a lot of pain today, went to London with Bro for posh steak (£22 just for the meat!) and ended up walking a bit. Four trains and two buses too, and hips haven't forgiven me. Shall be doing nothing but sitting today. Have a lot of pain on the train home - tightening and pushing pain, lasting about 60 seconds every 10 minutes, but stopped when I got home, thank god!

Oh knew there was something I hadn't commented on... the pessary - I was told by my GP that you can't and shouldn't use the pessary during pregnancy  I got the external cream from the pharmacist on prescription but there was no way my GP was prescribing me the pessary thingy... I wasn't going to object as never had thrush before :)

My mate who's a pharmacist is away on holiday so can't even ask her about the properties of the pessary thingies and if there is anything in them that might be inadvisable to take during pregnancy or if it's just the fact that they are inserted...

I didn't see my GP about thrush MW said I could just put a script request in for common prg things (so far I've had gaviscon, lactulose and canestan) I was given the pessary and used it. I have a feeling it said on the instructions something about not putting the applicator in too far if preg tho

just realised that Jade's birthday is my special day 5th June, made me a little bit sad

I was prescribed a pessary last week, my GP advised me not to use the applicator, but I did :o
My pharmasist told me he wont sell me anything but paracetamol and gaviscon, when i picked up my script for my itchy tummy he wouldnt let me take it away until he double checked i could take the tablets lol

  • Ahhhhh....I am bleeding again! I've just rang the midwife who is going to get me an appointment back at the EPAU. I'm friging fed up! It's brown loss rather than red but a good amount of it when I wipe. (Sorry if tmi.)

I've had a right week! Poor Ruby has been sick since having her jabs last tuesday. Projectile vomiting every day! I thought it was a bug after the first couple of days but she's still not right. I'm awaiting a call from the Doctor now.

I had to go & collect hubby from work on friday as he came down with a s&d bug all over the weekend. So he's been in bed feeling rotten!

I'm all about the positive mental attitude! I don't have time to have this bug & I don't plan on getting it. :D So far it's working! lol! I just don't need any more bleeding worries.

Rant over....I feel better already! x
