I'm gonna go against the grain... As someone that's seen the aneasthetist... I wouldn't bother at all! She didn't talk to me about pain relief at all... She spent 5 mins talking to me about healthy eating (without asking me my eating habits) told me I should join weightwatchers after I've had the baby and that was it... It took me longer to get to the hospital on the bus than it did for her to look at me and make assumptions...

They can't refuse you an epidural just because you didn't go to the appointment (especially if you've had one before)

Thanks for that Krystal - I'll have a word with Steve tonight then and see what he thinks xx

    You could try just expressing?

I'm tempted to breastfeed and express loads extra and donate it/throw it away - I like the idea of burning lots of calories!
TBH i think it's a crock of shoite, i know loads of people who bf and are still fat.

Before I had youngest (22 months) I'd got down to 12 st 2 lb with WW, by the time he was born I was only 12 st 10 lb! Managed to get down as low as 11 st 4 lb last summer, now 11 st 8 lb, so still less than when I got pg last time, so hoping I can keep wieght gain to a minimum. If I BF, even for just a while, it'll help (did last time) - would love to get down to under 10 1/2 st, would make me about size 12, not been that in over 10 years!

Umm-it's possible - I've put on a lb in the last 4 weeks (bah!) - meaning I'm now 2lb lighter than when i got pg?:o :o (i'm 31+ weeks) Am hoping to basically stay the same for rest of pg if poss (no, I'm not dieting in any way shape or form!!)

What would BMI come out at with correct height? - is that enough to put you below 35? Not sure what else to suggest... :(

My BMI at my correct height should have been 30, not 35.

There's no way I've only put 13lb on in 6 months, I reckon at least 2 stone  :rotfl:

Mrs Moc - I keep forgetting that loads of the weight will probably be boobs *smacks forehead*... I mean going from GG/H to JJ WILL have a weight impact durrrrrr Why do I keep forgetting that???
So maybe the rather significant weight increase isn't as bad as I think :) Must try to walk more though... just so difficult as I end up in pain but I do feel guilty ending up doing nothing... Will make concerted effort to go to aquanatal when I finish work - I'll have about 6 weeks worth I can then go to which would be lovely :)

Well it might depend on what you eat too... :) And they might still be fat - but LESS fat than they were :) It's not a miracle cure LOL
I'm just hoping it will help get SOME of the podge off - I realise some of it will require exercise :rotfl: Ah well - I will hopefully have an allotment that will need digging and tending too so that should help to a point
Ironically our normal grub is very healthy, it's just because I've had a sweet tooth recently I feel a bit guilty... *sigh*

That's another thing which pishes me off about BMI.

My boobs weigh at least a stone - believe me, I've weighed them, and I don't mean while I'm pregnant, it was a couple of years ago lol

If I'm 5.6 and someone else is 5.6, but I have massive one stone boobs and the other person has 32b's, whose BMI is going to be higher?

Mine, all because I have fat t!ts  :rotfl: :rotfl:

BMI is a load of crap.
