AM, she sounds like a real gem.. If only they were all like that ay! (I'd love to have a read of my notes with Aimee... Might request a look while I'm on the ward... Actually... Seeing as I work there... And I know where the notes are... I could probably pop and fetch my own lol)

Searching, hope you feel better soon hun, I think you should cry in front of the boss and get him to send you home!
Yeah have a look, it's actually really interesting to read aswell as helpful for me lol

i was thinking of bringing my ML forward one week but im not sure as my ML starts 23rd of may (my birthday yay) and end 11th of jan and i kinda like that x

I've just had enough of trying to a) go to work b) trying to be cheeerful all day c) trying to be empathic all day. I work in a call centre where we provide over the phone counselling.... and some people call up just to ignore the advice I swear!! So fr I havent messed up but I am getting more and more hacked off..... and less and less sympathetic/empathetic as time goes by. Although still managing to get 100% call quality... dont understand that one but I wont argue.

I just though that with my ML me and OH had decided it would be best to delay it as much as possible so had that date fixed in my mind. Soooo happy OH doesnt mind, as we have done the figures and it will just mean tightening the purse strings 2 weeks earlier than originally planned. :D

    Hi all,

Hope your all well, not been in for a while so I have just spent the morning catching up!

Wow I think there are four babies I didnt know had arrived!

Congratulations to all of you - Emlou, Mfd, Redmel and weezl! And welcome to all the little bundles!!! And I forgot one....Olliesmummy, sorry about that!

Sorry to hear about the not so good news, hugs to you all. Big labour vibes to all in need!

I am 36 weeks today woohoo, Think I have all baby things now bar a couple of clothing bits like socks and bibs, dont think I have enough of them...

Just need to get round to packing my hospital bag - J was 2 weeks late so Im reckoning I have plenty of time!:D

I have something a little funny to share with you all, was talking about when J was born with OH the other night and somehow the placenta was mentioned, at which point he kind of went a bit pink cheeked! Bless him I thought its not the nicest thing to see is it!? I then realised he probably didnt know it was going to come... we were both young and hadnt really talked about the birth before hand! Just as I was going to mention that fact to him he confessed.... He didnt have a clue what it was and honestly almost fainted because he thought it was a second one on its way out! Well I dont know how I managed to keep a straight face! :rotfl:  :rotfl:

My maternity allowance claim form is confusing me, so have posted in the benefits board! Hope someone can help me....Have left it rather late to claim! Whoops

    Lots a hugs x x x

I got a letter yesterday to go for an Anaesthetic Assessment because my BMI is over 35. I thought 35???? (I'd been doing WW before then so I'd checked my BMI before that and it was 30) So I got my notes out and had a good trawl through them.

My notes have me down as being 5'4 (I'm in between 5'5.5 and 5'6) and the weight they have me down as (I was weighed in October) means I have only gained 13lbs since then, which has GOT to be wrong!

Should I ring the number on the letter and tell them that they have been sent the wrong BMI for me so I don't need to go or should I just leave it and go??

I would give them a ring shellsuit and see what they say especially if you are likely to be wanting an epidural. You dont want them refusing you at the time because you didnt get in touch about the letter! You know what some people/hospitals can be like...
