I wouldn't pay £9! I wouldn't pay £4.50 either... I'd pass the pic on to my Nana and see if she could knock up something similar lol... But I am tight ;)

I'd love a new corner sofa... Sadly it's right at the bottom of the list... After, new wardrobes, chest of drawers.. bed... Getting the cats nuts removed... Don't think we'll be getting one this year!

Sami, is it a new thing then? Cos I don't remember having to do any paperwork last times? Or maybe Im just forgetfull lol
Maybe just new in ur area, sorry forgot to check how old your littlest one is  I filled my own notes in last time - about 2.5yrs ago

Glam - Last time I got all my maternity stuff from Mothercare nr pizza hut and M&S Gemini.
I'm afraid to admit it on here but :shhh: I hate primark and peacocks :silenced:
I know that H&M and debenhams in wigan have maternity section but I found both to be parp! H&M stuff its great if you have an inside leg of about 35" and deb's mat section resembled a jumble sale!
I have so far only bought 2 paris of mat jeans and one BF top - top and 1 pair jeans from mothercare and one pair jeans from next online sale. even just in mothercare I could only find 1 pair of jeans that actually fitted as all the diff styles fit diff so I won't buy unless I can try 1st!
I bough 2 tops in tesco today but not tried them on yet both £4 in lemon (I felt the need for summery colour with the nice weather :D) one of them is a vet top with buttons down the front so may even work as a BFing top for afterwards!

  • Krystal - I used the amazon box that some baby stuff came in and I made it about 4 thicknesses then covered it in foil. I could have bought a 20" cake board for £6.50 but my way is much more MSE!

Oh and Roo has hiccups AGAIN... she's obviously catching up from not having had any till now :D
I always wondered if she'd had them but I'd confused them with something else... but now she's had them there is no mistaking them I think :) I can definitely tell when she's got hiccups ;)

Tine I spotted a lack of towel and flannel on ur hosp bag list (you always forget those :p)

Glam as I mentioned in last post H&M mat pants are almost as tall as me so very much doubt they will be of any use to you (my inside leg is 6" longer than urs ) wazza H&M have the mat stuff instore if u wanna check out for tops etc tho, also DP in wazza has one whole rail of mat stuff woohoo:rolleyes:
My next jeans are 'petite' and fit me lovely - they are the same as my pre-preg jeans only with jersey pocket panels and cost half what I paid for my pre-p jeans!! (got them online about 2weeks ago for £12 so don't discount next with out looking!) I have to wear my MC jeans turned up if with trainers.
I can recommend a nice lady to alter stuff for you (she did my wedding dress and some pants for my mummy) she's in platt bridge tho, not too bad if ur going straight from work tho
