Think some of the girls have said 32 weeks but my MW said to wait until about 34. Think it's one cup a day and build up to 4.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Hello ladies
was having a look at baby clothes on ebay - we got sooo many as presents, which are beautiful, but all are much too big for right now and I'd love something other than baby grows to put the little one in!
only problem is that I can't see the seller descriptions on ANY ebay postings - anyone know why this is or how to fix it????
MFD - can't wait to read the birth story. xxxr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Glam - Peacocks do a range of maternity that is very reasonably priced as well, Although I have found the sizes in there are a bit hit and miss, so worth trying on before you buy.
Just back from my 25 week midwife appointment. Got to hear babys heartbeat, which she said was strong and also heard a few kicks too! I am measuring perfect for my dates too.
I got the HIPG form and the midwife said that because of a backlog of applications they don't think they will be paying out until May.Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Evening ladies !!!
Hope you are all OK, after last nights chat, it seems very quiet and subdued today !! (must have been cuz I was at work :rotfl:)
On the smear thing, I got one done at 20 after I had my DD and one again last year when they found CIN3 cells which had to be removed by burning them off
I am now classed as high risk and will have annual smears for the next 6 years or until I get 2 consecutive clear tests, but they told me very bluntly that I would not have had to go through that if I had been allowed one at 24 (ie 4 years after the 1st one) and not been made to wait until I was 26 as we couldnt get an appointment fitted in for me:eek:The two best things I have done with my life

I tried peacokcs but the samrt trousers were like a shiny material
I rang up to order some HiPG forms the other week as appranetly MW can only packs fo 10 but I can order packs of 50. Would you believe there is a 5 week backlog before we will get the forms!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Some of the H and M stores do maternity clothes which are cheap and also lovely (imho). Most of my maternity wardrobe is from there this time round with a few pieces from DP, Peacocks, Topshop, New Look and Gap. If you check on the H and M website, it will tell you your nearest store and whether it does maternity or not.0

And home... again...
Been to matalan and tesco with DH and now I think we have pretty much most of the stuff we need for the hospital bags so will get on with packing them tonight
I think there is so much clothes in the bags I bought that some of it might be going back on Ebay (might get lucky and it will pay for itself :rotfl:)
So far I have:
Nightdress (for wearing up until and during birth)
Pyjamas with button top (for after - suitable for BF)
Slippers (white and fluffy cos I liked them)
Disposable maternity pants
Old panties
Maternity pads for the above
Pads for the nipples
Nipple cream (in case)
Spare hairbrush
Hair bands
For bubs:
Sleepsuits
Bodysuits
2 hats
Scratch mittens (DH insisted *sigh*)
Socks
Going home outfit
Nappies
Wipes
Sudocrem
Vaseline
Gorgeous blankie
Will also sort out a bag for stuff like food/DS/drinks/magazines/phone numbers etc
Still got a few bits to get but nearly there! Check me out!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

After searching all the shops for maternity clothes, I found a fabulous range in mamas & papas only problem was the prices. I managed to pick up quite a few pieces of theirs on ebay though.0
